Falcon Bucoo
No experience with the Bucoos, but I love the Falcon Caras. Great balance, sensativity, overall quality, and a US company that stands behind their products.

Did Abu Garcia Scare Shimano?
Thanks! I have 9 1911s, I'm done with gun purchases for a while, but may very well add a Wilson down the road.

Did Abu Garcia Scare Shimano?
Les Baer Heavyweight Monolith actually. Here's a bigger version: I own a Kimber as well, CDP II.

Did Abu Garcia Scare Shimano?
I wouldn't put it that way, Abu has been making good stuff for a long time.

Swimming Worms
Swimming a worm can be very effective, I personally like zooms speed worms for this technique, but have had success with a variety of worms.

Omgosh, How Many Crankbaits Do I Need???
Heck, I think I've got close to 50, and I haven't even thrown a crank in months.

Rat-L-Traps: Fact Or Fiction?
The yo-yo technique can really work well at times too.

How Many Of You Fish All Winter??
Yep, at it all year. It can be tough, but anything beats just sitting around the house for me.

St. Croix Rod Bargain -- Steel Steel Steel!!
Good deals there in the bargain room, they got to me too. LTB Sweeper Spinnerbait rod a few weeks ago, very pleased.

Booyah Buzz!!!! All I Can Say!
Buzzbaits are lots of fun, they catch the small ones and the big ones too, one of my best bass of the year was caught on a black booya about a month ago, around 7lbs. I fish a lot in the evening, and never go home until I've thrown around a buzzer.

Revo Sx
I wasn't crazy about my gen2 SX when I first got it, it is different from my other reels, but the more I've fished with it, the more I've come to like it. Smooth consistant casts are the key for me, it's less tolerant of "lazy" casts than my other reels for sure. For the money,I think they're great, in fact I may very well grab another with prices going down.

Ika/senko Rod
I too like the Falcon Caras, they have a weightless worm rod, I've fished senkos on my 6'10" finese jig Cara and it handles them nice.

How Many Combo's Do You Use?
I mostly beat the banks, so while I have about half a dozen different combos, I usually just bring one casting combo and one spinning combo. The two that get the most work are my Falcon Cara finese jig rod and lews tourney pro, and my 6'10" Med/F spinning Cara with President XT.

Night Fishing
I caught a bunch last night just swimming a t-rigged zoom u-vibe worm in some shallow water around weedbeds. Not sure why, but that's been far and away my best night-time presentation lately, they wouldn't hit a buzzbait, spinnerbait, or popper last night, but they killed that worm.

St Croix Legend Tournament
I've never fished one, but I've been looking at that exact one in the bargain room, you couldn't go wrong at that price.

Lews Tournament Pro
It's not a SHIMANO so expect negativity.

Chatterbaits
A super fluke is a great trailer, you can use swimbaits as trailers as well. A chatterbait can be a nice follow up to a spinnerbait, and can be excellent in high pressure situations.

Losing Baits
A football head jig may come through the rocks a little better.

Do You Bring A Gun
I don't carry everywhere, but always do while fishing, and it has nothing to do with ego or fear.

Why Are Shimano Fans So Hardcore?
I've been so put off by Shimano hype, I simply refuse to buy their products.

Need Help With Bait Caster Reels
Assuming everything is set up OK, it just takes practice. Maybe I'm just slow, but honestly, I would say I fished for months before I got to a level that I would call "good" with a casting reel.
