Yep....but I was two years old the last time they won a playoff game.

Not a Bills fan, but I am a Cincinnati fan, so I can sympathise with rooting for a team that you know will never win anything in your lifetime.

I like Horton a lot. Fishing shows have been overrun with loudmouths, and guys who try to be funny (very unsucessfully) all the time, we need more Horton types. Just a normal guy out there fishing, and a good teacher as well.

But it's not a Shimano.....how is this possible?

Yet another bargain hunter here, the retail of the rods and reels I use tends to run right around $200, but I always buy rods on sale and reels usually on eBay.

I never fished a Gen1 Recon, but I can tell you that the Gen2s are still very parabolic. I have a feeling the action didn't really get changed much.

Kills me how rough Pros are on their gear, Brauer was breaking rods, and stomping all over them. Must be nice to get that stuff for free.

I picked up a couple Gen2 Recons recently and have been extremely impressed, definately worth the money IMO.

U40 is cheap too, $7 shipped on eBay for 2oz, and that's enough to last a long time.

Good deal, I dealt with Pure Fishings CS once on a much smaller level, and they did a fine job for me as well.

I'm sick of the SEC, but jeez, everyone else looks like division II in comparison. The SEC championship game is the real national championship game every year.

They have some lame rules, penalties for letting a fish touch the boats carpet? Promoting healthy catch and release is great, but that seems really over the top.

I've got one of my Recons paired with a Lews TP, it's a very slick combo.

Look at the Phenix Recons and M1s as well.

Flouro on a spinning reel can be a nightmare in the cold.

They are one of my favorite Winter baits, mix things up, and fish them slow.

But Joe Flacco is an elite QB! Well, that's how he describes himself anyway.

Straight fluro for me too, I just don't like braid, and fish a lot of rock as well.

Buzzbait for me.

I'm certainly no expert, but I do love buzzbaits. Water color as always can have an effect, but white for mid-day, and black in the evening is generally what works for me. That said, I never could get much action mid-day, even on cloudy days with them. Once light starts getting low in the evening however, it's my favorite lure, and I'll almost always go for black.

Positive thinking optimist types always make me uptight.
