  5. That 37 days is gonna go by so slow man! Maine just changed the law last year? Or the year before so we can fish as soon as ice out no waiting I'll give it about 2 weeks and most lakes will be ice free here. Springs finally within sight!
  6. I've narrowed my selection for new spinning rod to three rods. I want to use then for finesse/drop shot/shakey head. My three choices are Powell diesel-6'10" medium action- xfast tip $69.99 Shimno crucial- 7'2" medium light- fast tip $90- very good deal down 30% then $25 off that sale price. Fenwick elite tech 6'9" medium xfast $87 If there are any other rods I maybe consider but I like these three. Which is the best deal in this list In your opinion? Thanks, Jordan

  9. Just wanted to add, as confusing as things may seem with all the different kinds of techniques, brands, terms, just stick with it and try to take in as much as you can and you will soon understand it all. It may take a bit and be confusing but you will look back and laugh at certain things you had no clue or didn't understand. At least this is the case with me.
  10. Hmm the link you posted isn't working I'll try again in a bit.
  11. already bought a shimano Sahara but thanks I'll keep that in mind for the future.
  12. If I can't get a fenwick for $80 would a 6'7" M carrot stick make a good finesse rod for $75?
  13. Which 6'9" are you seeing because the only ones I see are $129 or they are MH
  14. Yes I bought a shimano Sahara yesterday and jus gonna keep my eye open for a rod, which will probably be either a crucial or fenwick elite tech smallie rod
  15. Was just in dicks and decided I'd check the board on my phone, so I ended up buying a shimano Sahara 2500 which size rod and action should I get because there's about 20 on amazon. Thanks
  16. I'm looking to buy a spinning setup for dropshotting and shakey heads. I'm not very familiar with spinning setup so I'm asking for advice in what to buy for under $150 for these uses. I really like shimanos products, but If there's a better deal or better setup that's fine with me I don't care. Thanks
  17. This annoys me so much, pretty much EVERYONE calls stick baits senkos but you don't see Gary Yamamoto threatening everyone because of it!
  18. I'm in sw Florida right now and the pond with probably about 3 acres there's pretty much no cover except for small weeds on the bottom the waters pretty stained so you can only see about a foot into it. I think it's about 10 feet deep in the center. I've been catching bass here and there but haven't found a great bait or lure to catch them on. Also the waters pretty warm probably in the mid 70s.
  19. Anyone familiar with this area or know good techniques to catch bass in a pond with no cover?
  20. Ok well. I'm staying in Naples right now and just have a few questions. What are the best spots for good bass to fish from shore here? Where Close do we have a good shot at catching peacocks? Also there's a small pond next their house and I've caught a few bass on a couple senkos and a spinnerbait but haven't found anything that works great the water is pretty warm probably around 75-80 and pretty stained I don't think it's too deep maybe about 10-15 feet in the middle but what would be the best techniques and things to try. Thanks alot.
  21. YES Curados are awesome reels the 50e will be able to handle pretty much all lightweight plastics/lures and will also be able to handle heavier stuff aswell
