  1. I'm starting to consolidate my terminal, in terms of what is necessary to have. What sizes and types of hooks do you guy alway keep in your boxes? What's size weights? I don't do much punching or heavy flipping so I have not need for real heavy stuff.
  2. Forgot to ask, what rod should I bring to throw em on? Will a 7'3" MH do, or will I need a 7'6" H Flipping stick? Wasn't planning on bringing the flipping rod but if I have to I will. I plan on using either weightless hooks or 1/4 with these.
  3. Thanks for the advice guys, hope the fishing as good as it was when I went a couple years ago!
  4. One more question about the swimbaits, what colors tend to produce the best in the south? I'll be fishing small ponds if tht matters.
  5. Never really fished swimbaits much, how's it rigged? How much weight, if any?
  6. Im heading down to Naples the last week in Feb, bringing rods and a bunch of tackle down. I'm bringing a wide range of stuff, but anything specific I should focus on? EDIT, leaving on Thursday, how's the fishing in the Naples area doing? What's producing at the moment?
  7. I would, but I don't have a local shop that currently carries them.
  8. I'm looking at the new Duckett ghosts, I was wondering what people thought of them so far. So far I'm looking at either the 7'0 MH or the 7'3" MH, leaning towards the 7'3". Rod will be mostly used for soft plastics and jigs. What difference is there really between the two?
  9. Another Mainer here, moving to FL within the next year, ill let you know more when the time comes!
  10. Did you seriously steal the stuff, that's horrible if you did.
  11. As am I, but it would be a big hassle to bring on flights. Thanks for the input, I have a spinning rod in that series so I'll have to check out the casting rods.

  13. Been a while since I've posted, been busy with stuff the past year so I'm kind of out of the loop on new stuff on the market. I need a new travel casting rod, I want something that can cover all basic stuff. Senkos, Texas rigs, etc. Price range probably at most $150 because I won't use it all that much. Thanks guys.
