Has anyone on here ever fished Swepco lake before? I'm planning a trip up there after the first of the year. I can't find a lot on info on it. Found one U-tube clip on it and that's about it. Can't really find any resent fishing reports on it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Back when I was getting me a new unit I did a lot of research on both. It seem like one page would be pro lowrance and the other would be pro humminbird. But the one thing that came up in all site was lowrance had poor customer service. I'm not saying that they do or do not. I never had to deal with them. So I went with humminbird. And I'm happy with it. And plus humminbird was a little cheaper.

My problem is I'm so ugly I break all my camera. Lol

But I would like to try it. I never fish one.

I saw that one too. It's a little far but in a couple weeks I'm thinking of making a road trip out there. I didn't see if they have any boat or motor restriction. I would hate to drive that far and not put my boat in it. But I found a marina phone number I well give a call before I head that way. But thank for the research.

I think I'm going to try tape. I tied the lines together and I had the knot. Not sure if I like that. Do you ever have change out the filler line out? Or is it good for a long time?

Does anybody know of a power plant lake in Arkansas? Preferably in north Arkansas. I live like a hour south of Norfork and bull shoals. I would really like try one. I'm not sure if Dardanelle is one or not?

Just seeing if anyone on here fished Greers Ferry lately? I'm planning on going mybe tomorrow and I have never really fish much in the winter so any tips would be great!!

Do you do it on spinning reel too? Or just casting reel?

I didn't think of taping it up I was just going to tie it together. I just went out a bought #12 suffix 3000 yrds for $35.

So you just put #10 line on all your reels? I was wondering say I put some#17 flouro it ok to have #10 mono line as a filler? Thats what I want to do is go buy a big spool of #10 or something mono and match it up with did # of flouro line on my other rods to try save a little money.

Im thinking of trying to use filler line. Just seeing if anyone on here does it or tried it and didn't like it. And what a good cheap line to use? Do you need to use the same size filler line as your leader? Any tips would be great!!! Thanks
