Just Got Word From Bass Pro!
Can you elaborate more on this? I've only been to the Classic the last 2 years. How is it going to be any different from my previous experiences?

How Do You Organize Your Tackle
Pretty much like everybody else, but I did make a soft plastics storage system that is all my own and works pretty well so far... I think I've posted this in 2 other threads already, so what's one more? I've also found that wrapping the treble hooks together with rubberbands as shown allows you to get a lot more cranks in the same compartments with no issues of tangling. Jig And Jig Trailer Storage
I put this in a different post, but my system seems to work well for me. My jig box helps me keep jigs organized by size, and the other box helps me keep all my trailers together in their original bags; I usually just throw a few bags in the box or the boat before I go.

Warrantee Or No Warrantee
Maybe it's just because I've never been burned by a warranty or have ever broken a rod, but this sounds like a good idea to me. If I can get a rod for less than its quality price point suggests, then good for me. I've never owned a rod over $200, but it seems like I get new rods every couple of years anyway.

What Is Best Way To Work Floating Worm ?
I like a black Zoom Trick Worm weightless rigged weedless. There are a million colors for Trick Worms, and I know guys that swear by Methiolate and Bubblegum, but I prefer more natural colors. To be fair, I hardly ever thrown a Trick Worm that isn't black or some shade of green pumpkin or watermelon. Good luck, and you can rig a trick worm a lot of ways. Weightless, texas, carolina, shakey head, wacky, flick shake, etc...

Double Rigged Fluke
What type of line works best for the leaders? Maybe it shows in one of the links, but I'm looking what you guys have personally found that works. Also, what type of rod works best for this application? Can I still get by with my regular fluke rod or does a little more beef help? I was thinking a MH rod with braid for the main line and some heavy duty mono or flouro for the leaders.

Shadalicious Score!!!!!!!
I don't rig them actually. I bought a few packs a while back and never used them, and after my Cabela's trip, I've got 6 more packs. I like the small Yum Money Minnow for a swim jig trailer, and have used the bigger size alone on a weighted swimbait hook. I've just heard a lot of good things about these baits and wanted to see what technique people like them so much for.

They've had that deal here in Omaha for a month now. Do you rig them a s a jig trailer or by themselves?

Vicious Versus Vicious Elite
Used Vicious for the first time last year, and it was ok. I did, however, notice that it was terrible for tying a knot. Just my opinion, but it was actually the first line that I noticed having issues tying the knot.

Discarded Soft Plastics
A guy on a local forum posted some pics last year of a trout he caugh out of a stock pond. The 14" trout had an undigested 3" section of a senko type bait in his stomach along with 2 other unidentified plastics. There's no telling how long this fish has had these plastics inside of him, but they didn't look like they were breaking down very well.

Raider's New Gm Fire Hue Jackson
Who cares? The Raiders are a joke and that obviously hasn't changed even with the departure of Al Davis. Talk about a collapse... They had the division wrapped up if they could have just stayed afloat. If I would've known that the Raiders were going to quit trying in the 2nd half of the season, I would've called John Fox 5 weeks ago and told him to start resting his starters after the bears game in week 14. New records for penalties and penalty yards in one season, picking up a washed up Carson Palmer and blowing the division... Why should this guy have kept his job?

Terminal Tackle Storage
I'm interested in what you guys have found works for you for storing and carrying around your terminal tackle: hooks, weights, jig heads, o-rings, etc... I've been using the Falcon FTO terminal tackle organizer the last few years, but I'm just wondering if there's a better system out there. Thanks,

How's Your Duck Season Going So Far?
Glad you boys down south are having some good shoots. Our duck season ended earlier this week but we can shoot Canadas until the end of Jan. Pretty crazy season. Ended with 287 ducks and 93 canadas. Sounds like a lot on paper and we really only hunted the weekends besides 2 Fridays off around Halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. Great hatch this year with lots of birds seen. We're hunting a pretty metro area and the ducks find the safe ponds and pits fast, but luckily, those geese are suckers for 13 dozen goose decoys on a sand bar. Most of the ducks we got were teal and gads, with mallards shot in early November and more in late December. Keep gettin 'em boys.

Bearing Upgrades...
I've recently sent 4 of my Bass Pro PQs to a professional reel cleaning service to have them cleaned, lubed and 'pro-tuned.' The guy I sent them to also has a bearing upgrade option with a couple of different options, including ceramic bearings. I know little to nothing about the insides of my reel and was hoping that someone could fill me in on the benefits of a bearing upgrade and especially the ceramic ones. I'm pretty happy with the performance of my PQ and was hoping that I'll see even more of an improvement with the clean and tune. Will upgraded bearings make the reel last longer or require less maintenance? Will the improvements be noticeable besides the weight? Any input on the cost to upgrade? I don't tournament fish or anything like that, but I like to take care of my gear and would like to make my PQs last as long as possible. Thanks in advance,

Help Build Me A Crankin Setup!
I just picked up a new Shimano Compre crankbait rod for $109 and a new BPS Extreme 5.3:1 for $80. They're both green, so at least they match...

Johnny Morris Carbonlite
Just picked up my new Extreme and new colors of KVD squarebills. Got to love BPS! Ordered on Sunday (Christmas) with free ship to store and gift cards redeemed on-line, and I picked them up tonight. I'm a huge fan of the PQs (have 4 of them) and the old ProLite finesse reels (have 2 of them) and was never a big fan of the Extreme line. This one looks different and feels different. Light weight, sleek, and I can't wait to use it

Restocking the tacklebox/Show it off.
The colors actually don't mean anything to me actually. I just wrap them like that so I can put a bunch of cranks in the same slot and not have them tangle with each other. A tip I learned from In-Fisherman, and it's worked out great so far.

Restocking the tacklebox/Show it off.
Topwaters Here is how I store my soft plastics. Each is full of my plastics organized by type and separated into individual containers... Yes, I'm a little bit anal. And here is an example of what's inside each individual container...

Strange Duck Hunting Trip
Ducks don't make it to December by being stupid.

St. Croix Rage Vs. Mojo
I've got the 7' M, MH and H Mojos and they've worked well for me. I'm a weekend warrior and don't do any tournament fishing. These were the first 'nicer' rods that I've purchased, and I've been happy with them for the most part. I just bought a Shimano Compre cranking rod because the Mojo 'Crankster' was just a little too beefy for me.

Bass Pro Master Catalog 2012?
Thanks for the link. My 2011 catalog is looking a little rough. That happens when you look at it every day I guess.
