Starting To Build Credit?
I am not a credit expert by any means but I do not what I have been told to tell many young customers by numerous lending instituions, if I have been told incorrectly, then so be it, but I can't see why that would be the case.

Starting To Build Credit?
having a credit card and not using it does nothing to increase your credit score. Credit history is something they use to determine score, often times bigger loans are disapproved for having insufficient credit history, I have seen this many times in the Auto business. We will have to agree to disagree on this. Also having high available credit can be detrimental to receiving an additional loan, and credit scores are typically figured on debt to income ratio, not how much credit you have available on one card. Keep in mind this is someone just starting to establish credit, not someone with 10 cards a house and a history of paying off vehicles. I do agree with your statement that carrying a balance does not show your ability to pay off over time, but making monthly payments over the course of a year does, and you can not do that with a 0 balance.

Starting To Build Credit?
To build credit you should do a couple of things, make a purchase that is about 1/2 of your balance, and pay it back over a period of time. This does two things, shows that you have the discipline to manage your available credit, and establishes a history of making your payments on time. Making a purchase and paying it off immediately is good to save on finance charges but does not build credit in terms of score as effectively.

Percentage Triangle
RoLo I enjoy your posts. I can say this with almost complete confidence, if there are no baitfish present your chances of catching any number of bass in a certain area diminish greatly, Maybe I am just a lucky guy, when I find balls of baitfish in the correct depth of water, I almost always find bass nearby.

Shorter Or Longer Rod For Pond / Bank Fishing
So your saying you see no distance gain in casting between a 6'10" rod and 7'6" rod. Interesting

Spool For A Daiwa Fuego
japantackle.com has the HLC spool for $115 in stock, they also have the new Tatula Type R shallow spool listed at $49 but is currently backordered, bet they sell a few of these at that price.

Magnetic Vs. Centrifugal Brakes
Lots of different braking systems out there, I prefer dual braking reels above all else. I have fished the Revo Premier Gen2 and JDM Elite IB reels for a long time now, and it is what I am use to.

Spool For A Daiwa Fuego
I have one with the red Zillion spool in it, and while it looks nice I do not notice much of an upgrade in performance. I have another with the 100M spool in it and it is a noticeable upgrade. There is a member at TT that just upgraded his Fuego to an HLC spool and give his opinion on it recently. Great Reel, Congrats

Need Rod And Bait Set Up Help
Without knowing the specifics of the rod brands it is difficult at best to say, there are no industry standards so rods vary greatly between brands. The good news is you have two or three versatile rods, and should be able to make adjustments to which rod a given bait will perform the best on, nothing beats testing and experience on the water.

Dobyns Vs Duckett
While I agree with most of what you have said, I do find in a few post nuggets of great information, things like balance and build quality, component material types, available actions and lengths, reel seat types. Most of the information is very opinion based but some of it is helpful if you can take the time to sift through it.

Or, they could be ignored by those who don't like them, and left open for those who choose to participate. Just Sayin.....

Round Baitcasters Question (Like Abu Ambassadeur)
Does this reel have a disengaging level wind? Reading the specs I don't believe that it does. When you cast a reel with a synchronized level wind the spool momentum also has to move the level wind back a forth and will rob you of some serious casting distance.

Need Rod And Bait Set Up Help
a 7' MH/F rod is a jack of all trades, it can do just about anything well, with the exception of very light baits, and very deep crankbaits. Use the 6'6" M/F for slightly lighter baits and when you need more casting accuracy like throwing to docks and brush piles, things of that nature. Both are very versatile rods and there is almost nothing out of the question with the 3 rods you listed.

What Part Is This?
I believe what you are referring to is commonly called the gullet.

Falcon Bucoo Cranker Spin
I was looking at that very rod yesterday, seems like it would load well for lighter baits. One thing to consider when using a spinning reel for crankbaits is IPT, while a baitcaster and a spinning reel may have similar gear raitos, the spinning reel typically has a much higher IPT due to spool size. If you run smaller crankbaits too fast they do not perform well in my opinion.

Dobyns Vs Duckett
The truth though is Dobyn's is an over priced Powell Rod and no where near as good as the Pro staff would have you think. Using the same logic, and mind you I don't agree, but would that not make the Duckett rods an over priced Carrot Stix.

Dobyns Vs Duckett
Dobyns is my vote, much better balance and I also prefer their build quality over the Duckett rods.
