I was a BIG MK fan for several years until their "unbreakable shaft" broke and they would not cover it under warranty. It was less than a year old and broke when I bumped a stump at low speed. I have had several MG and have bent many shafts on them until now. My boat came with a 109 and the gator mount came with springs that let the motor rebound from hitting an obstacle. I have fished it hard over 5 years with no problems. Kelley

45 days to go here before I get to start with a bow. I am putting up stands and making ground blinds now. I use Spitfire 100g with great success. H3ll of a blood trail. Got 6 last year, 3 with gun and 3 with bow. Kelley

"No matter how good you get, trying to cast a lure/worm that is quite light will be next to impossible." Just depends on if you can cast or not. I throw a wacky zoom centipede on a bait caster with 8lb fluorocarbon quite some distance with accuracy, no problem. It is all about setting your reel right and experience. I also started with an old Bronson casting reel in 1954 when I was 11. Bought my first Ambassador Red 5000 in 1958 and thought I had died an gone to heaven when I learned how to adjust it. Kelley

I have ridden in every make of boat over the years and the Triton has the smoothest and the driest ride on the market with the Bass Cat coming in a close second. I own a 21X with a 225 Opti and can get 71 mph with just me aboard. Kelley

YES!!! It was my PB and was caught at the second Lake Fork Roadtrip. I hooked it on a senko type bait and it broke off. I retied and threw the same type bait to the same snag and hooked it again. After landing it as I was taking the hook out I saw my other hook and bait in it's mouth. I removed both hooks and realeased the fish after weighing. It weighed 8lb 9oz. Kelley

I have to third Crocs. I have had both hips replaced and my right leg is 1" shorter than the left. Crocs are the only footwear that don't have me hurting like h3ll after about an hour fishing. Kelley

I agree it is too many miles! My Grandson will be 16 next month and have seen him far too little in the past 16 years. He assures me that will change as soon as he gets his drivers license. It will also help that his Dad and the woman he married have divorced after 21 years of hell. Kelley
