  1. Kansas, Kentucky, Duke & Syracuse Top seeds in this order
  2. "Get some 1/0, 2/0, and lots of 3/0, and some 4/0 Gamakatsu Extra Wide Gap worm hooks." Buy Gamys if you want to hook some of the fish that bite. Buy Owner if you want to hook all the fish the fish that bite. Hook Point will roll on Gamys. Will not on Owners. Some people complain about the difference in price. I would hate to miss the fish of a lifetime because of a dull hook. Kelley
  3. Stroking a Jig is one of my favorite presentation. Nothing like it and works wonderfully when done properly. My favorite size is 1/2oz. Will work in most any depth water. I like to work ledges most. Kelley
  4. 3rd warm day with south wind fish north west shore and points. Kelley
  5. 1/8th oz crankbait. Google yv37 pee wee wart and get a crankbait as close to this one as possible. Works wonders in 48 to 52 degree water. Warmer (52-60 degrees) rattle trap type lures. Red or shad colors. Kelley
  6. 3700 because they fit the 21 slots in my boat. Kelley

  8. I'm confused by this. How do you get a good hooksett if the fish whiffs? If the fish misses, the hooksett will miss too. I know I hate laying the steel on nothing..... I love them all and what I am saying you don't get to enjoy the other 2 without the strike. Therefore I think the STRIKE is the most important. Kelley Kelly, my post wasnt questioning your reasoning....in fact, on the first or 2nd page I replied that I'm a 'strike' guy myself. No problem, I took no offence was just explaining my logic. Kelley
  9. Deb, this is the first time I ever saw someone tell the story of the last few years of their life with Smilies. Very creative. Kelley
