Yes it still has the 25 HP limit. You can fish it with a bigger motor on boat but have to use trolling motor only while away from ramp. You are allowed to use big motor to launch and load boat on trailer. Make sure your boat is in compliance with all state regulations. I get checked almost every time I go up there. Kelley
