If finances would allow would you?
Depends on the price and the boat market in your area. We are over 1/2 way into the fishing season and it may not sell till spring. If you can afford to hold on to your boat that long go for the Pro Craft. Kelley

BASS AND BUZZBAIT - 3 QUESTIONS FOR THE BASS GURUS
Avid, you should take a trip to Lake Cumberland in Ky in the summer. The water is so clear you can see if a dime is heads or tails in 15ft of water. Great Smallmouth, Spots, Largemouth, and Rockfish(Stripers) lake. Lake also has Walleye, Trout, White Bass, Crappie, and Bluiegill. When the lake is at full pool the water near the dam is well over 100 ft. Kelley

BASS AND BUZZBAIT - 3 QUESTIONS FOR THE BASS GURUS
I have caught Bass on a Buzzbait in water up to 40ft deep. I'm not saying the Bass were that deep, they may have be suspended. To up your odds on a buzzbait in deep water make repeted cast to same area. I have made as many a 50 casts on a point that I knew held bass before I caught a fish. Some of my larger bass have come from 20 plus casts to a point after dark with a black buzzbait. I have also caught schooling bass in 100 plus ft of water on topwater baits. Kelley

sharpening hooks
I sharpen mine with a small file I got from Janns Netcraft. I know Bass Pro has them also. Kelley

rubber inserts for bullet weights
I use rubber bands to peg my weights. I save the tag end of my line when I tie a T-Rig and insert the ends through the sinker, slip a rubber band through the loop, pull rubber band through the weight, cut the rubber band close to the weight on the rod end and leave enough tag of rubber band on the hook end of the weight to pull the rubber band out so can re-use weight. Cheaper then peg rubber and save the weight to use another day. Kelley

BASS membership
I was a member of BASS for over 30 years. ESPN screwed it up so I am no longer a member and will not be as long as ESPN owns BASS. Kelley

overhand casting
Pratice, Pratice, Pratice, Start with a heavy weight, cast softly at first, (don't try to throw a mile to start), educate your thumb. After you master that cast learn roll casting, pitching, flipping, reverse side arm. all useful at times. Leave aabout 6 inches of line from rod tip. Kelley

Watching your line?
Line watching is a GOOD thing. I fish 80%of the time with slack line. Even with my Loomis rods I can't feel a bite on slack line. I am a constant line watcher and will set the hook at any abnormal movement in the line. If conditions don't alow me to see my line where it enters the water I watch the line at the furtherest point I can see it. Kelley

Senko O-Rings
I love to fish a Senko wacky. I shy away from using Yamamoto Senkos because I can catch only one maybe two bass on one. I have been using stiko's from BPS because they are tougher. I now have changed and am going to fish the original Senko more. I bought a O-Ring kit off Ebay. They came in the mail today so I had to try them out in my pond. I caught 10 bass in about 45 minutes and the Senko is still useable. Kelley
