Lilly pads
Not hard to transplant at all. Be advised that lilly pads are very invasive and will take over a small pond in no tme. Kelley

How does one avoid short stikes?
Have another rod ready with soft plastic or another slow sinking lure and throw to the misssed fish. Also you can add a trailer hook to any bait. Kelley

the use of electronics
bassbobo7, I would like to fish with you, each in our own boat, on a unknown lake and see who catches the most and the largest fish. Kelley

Try top-water early and as long as you can find shady cover, ie, buzzbait, poppers, spooks, floating frogs, ect, ect. Kelley

Buzzbaits not working
A buzz bait will work on schooling fish also. Throw past the school and retrieve it with short jerks allowing it to sink a couple of inches between short jerks. Try it sometims 5BL. Schooling Bass will Kill it. Kelley

Buzzbaits not working
Just keep throwing them. Over grass, any cover you can see, ie, stumps, trees, brush, beaver houses, rip rap, boat docks, boat ramps., points. Repeated casts will agitate Bass into biteing. Throw black as well as white and white/chartruse. I have my best luck with 1/4 oz. Had 5 keepers Friday morning when they wouldn't hit anything else. Of course I practice C&R. I was pre fishing for a tournament next Sunday(6/24). Always use a trailer hook. Also see thread about night topwater. Kelley

Best time for topwater lures.
Throw a black buzzbait at night. Sometimes I will throw 40 or 50 times on one point if I know there are fish on it. I caught my longest Bass at nitght on a black buzzbait. 27 inches. Only weighted 6lb 14oz but was in a very infertile mountian lake in Kentucky. Also have caught several Smallies doing this. Kelley

Checkin' in...trying to make things right again...
Things will get better. I have been around long enough to know that life is a series of 'Moutians and Valleys'. This is just one of the things in life that happens and we can do nothing about it. I have learned to recognize when this is about to happen. When I finding myself going into a valley I put on the brakes hard untill I get halfway down then I run like h*ll till I get halfway up the other side and then slow down to make the upper half of the moutian last as long as it can. I also find that the longer I am in the valley the longer the duration on the mountian top. This to will pass and you will find yourself on the mountian top. The thing thas helped me in my life is a POSITIVE attitude and know that my cup is alwaus at least half full. Kelley

Devasted that this is happening in my Lake!!!
The biggest problem with a lot of our childern is that no one is teaching them right from wrong. Maybe a scare for breaking the law would keep some of these childern from growing up to be criminals. If one is save from a lawless life the scare would be worth it. Kelley

TOWING BOAT ON HIGHWAY WITH SEATS ON
I lost the back seat towing my Triton last week. I haven't called to ck the replacement cost yet and I dread finding out. I wasn't running over 70 mph and had the post out and the seat pin in the base on the deck. Kelley kelley

My PB came at Lake Fork this spring on the Forum trip. I broke it off on the frist bite an threw back to the same place it hit and caught it on the second bite. It had my Wacky Sticko and hook in it's mouth. Frist time I ever caught the sme fish on 'back to back' casts and I have been fishing 60+ years. Was 8lb 9 oz. Kelley
