I fished the back of the boat for a lot of years. Fish like the guy in the front of the boat wasn't there. I have caught hundreds(maybe thousands) of fish by throwing a different bait in the same place the guy in the front just fished. This is really true if the guy in the front fishes every likely looking spot. I now own a super nice boat but still would rather fish the back of the boat. 9 times out of 10 I will beat my tournament buddy because all I have to do is fish and not worry about boat control and position. I always let my buddy run the trolling motor. Kelley

Advertisement is the most important thing in business. I sold lures in the '80s thru the early 2000s to pay for my tournament/fishing addiction. I had a very good friend, Billy Westmoreland, who endorsed my baits and advertised them on his TV show. Billy was, IMHO & many others. the best Smallmouth fisherman of all times. I also had a bait, Marabou Spinn that made the Bassmaster magazine(Feb 2000). I sold a ton of baits with this national exposure. I was lucky enough to get this advertisement for only the cost of a few baits. Send samples of your baits to every Pro and TV fishing host you know and if they fish it and happen to show it nationaly you will more than make back the money you spent on the lures you gave away. LAVA soap is the only common brand soap without any odor. I use it often when fishing. If you want to quit cigs. get your Dr. to write you a Scrip for Chantix. My wife and I both quit in Jan. using this med. I had smoked for 50 years and my wife had smoked for 40 years. You have to have some willpower and the desire to quit but it works. Kelley

Any baitstore worth it's salt will stock Senko's. It is a peice of soft, salt impregnated plastic that looks like a cigar with the band on it. I missed the boat for several years by being so hard-headed that I would not use them. I thought "no way a bass will hit these" but I was the same way with tubes. I don't have my color chart in front of me so I don't know what a 194 is but if you stick with natural colors, ie, shades of green, white, browns, and blacks you will be fine. Google Yamamoto Lures.
