Wacky Trick Stick, 2nd Roadtrip Lake Fork, 8lb 9oz.

I ran into those conditions there about 5 years ago. Impossible(for me anyway) to get a bait to get the bait to the fish.

I use Abu Garcia Revo STX-L-HS(this year), 7.5ft MH fast rod, 10 or 12lb fluorocarbon, weedless owner or gamakatsu finesse hook, *** Trick stick. This is the technique that gave me my PB.

D@mn Catt, who s#!t in your cheerios? I know with all the stumps and trees in the big pond a light is a must there. I was fishing a mountain lake that there is a phenomenon where a fog settles over the lake at a height of 3 ft and we run the lake at night looking at the skyline of the ridges on both side of the lake. I know I shouldn't have been running WOT but had I not run as fast as I was I would have been late for weigh-in and we won that night with a 17lb 11oz bag.

I don't know if it would help catch fish but would sure help running the lake. A few years ago in a night tournament I came within 1ft of a guy in a johnboat without any lights, in the middle of the lake, with me at WOT. I am sure both of us had to wipe after that encounter. Kelley

I plan on going to Indian River on Sunday. Like Gene if I am on big fish I will stay on Ky the rest of the week but if not I am game for Indian River on Thursday. I may look over the Devil's Elbow area of Barkley also. Kelley

Silver Gray for hull, Light Gray carpet(not loop), White or some other light color Seats. My boat has Black Interior and Black Hull with Red accent. It will kill you on a Blue Bird 90 Degree day.

9 back surgeries(coal mine accident in 1981), Both hips replaced(right one twice, 11/26/97, 12/29/08), osteoarthritis in every joint of my body. I still fish every chance I get. Fished 3 local tournaments a week last year. Don't know about this year, will know more after Ky Lake Trip.

I replaced a steering cable on my small boat last summer. After you figure out the size you need google Teleflex cables in the length you need(saved about $50.00). The Teleflex you posted has a new helm, Maybe you can get by with just cables. When you take the old cables out ck the helm and see if it is free.

I would at least untill I got a new graft.

A couple tips, install auto bilge pump and never hook graft/fish finder to trolling battery. Running the trolling motor interferes with graft.

My PB bit and was hooked on back to back casts. I threw a cigar type bait to the base of a tall snag, got bit, set the hook and fought the fish about 3/4 the way to the boat and broke off. Tied on another hook, put on the same type bait, made cast to tall snag and hooked the same fish. Fought to boat and landed a 8lb 9oz sow. While taking hook out I saw my other hook and bait in the fishes mouth. Fish can be seen on 2nd Roadtrip Vid.

The'Little Guy' got me also. I ordered a "Semi" load of plastic from Brent :(well maybe not quite a "Semi" load).

The MG is 105lbs and the MK is 101lbs.

If anyone watched KVD fish the Zero and that weed guard that he made with 80lb, Mono. line! What I would like to know where can I buy 80lb.Momo.? I looked on line on Bass Pro and nothing evan close. And the hook he was using was a saltwater Crooker hook, can't find that one too. went and looked at Mustad site and could not find it. That is a pretty cool weedguard that he made! Try EBay and use fluorocarbon instead of mono. Either will work.

If you are wanting to know what gauge wire to run from battery to bow I would use at least 6 gauge.
