I have made these and they work well. Be sure to bevel the sharp edges on the copper. Wheel weights work well. If you don't have the capabilities to melt lead you can do it with any cast iron utensil and a Coleman camp stove. Always melt and pour lead in a well ventilated area(preferably outside).

  12. Use boat-bumpers at the dock, stay away from stumps and rocks.
  13. This deal with BP and Shimano has been going on 3 or 4 years where Shimano did not participate in the reel trade. THIS IS OLD NEWS!!!!!!!!
  14. Go with the largest TM you can afford. Better to have the power and not need it than need it and not have it.
  15. Xs 2 BUY THE TRITON!!!!!!!! I have a 2004 TR21X DC with a 225 OPTIMAX that I bought when I was doing a lot of competitive fishing. The only time it has been back to the dealer was for the 100hr tune-up. I owned a GT150 in the 90's, what a fuel hog. I have never been sorry for the upgrade. The 225 OPTIMAX gets almost twice the MPG compared to the GT 150. If I was buying again It would be a Triton 19.6 with a 200 OPTIMAX. Will run in mid to high70's when jack plate is set right and with the right prop. Kelley Not hooked-up with Triton or Mercury in any way Just like these products.
  16. My guess would be that he is going somewhere he don't want to take a glass boat. I wonder if that is a jet-drive on the back?
  17. yup we can sue anyone in America that guy in Texas is getting sued for them illegals runnin on his property and him shootin up in the air to scare um this country is not based on your own responsibilities ,everyone is to blame for anything you do you dont have to take account for anything this is a sign of a dying nation :'( The last I knew(may have changed the law) Texas is the only state that allows the landowner to shoot trespassers.
  18. Congrats!!!!!!!!!! Heck of a deal. Now the fun starts. Lots of elbow grease will make it yours.
  19. I have both a Bass Hunter and a 12ft Jon boat. I prefer to fish out of the Bass Hunter. I power both of them with the same $5.00 Minn Kota 35(estate auction). The Bass Hunter is the most stable platform. I fish the Jon if there is someone fishing with me.
  20. There was a Radio study done in the '70s 0r '80s that studied multiple bass and most returned to the place they were caught. One even traveled 20 miles.
