I have a Super Duty, yes LMG now owns a Lews reel. It's a nice reel, nothing in comparison to my E series Shimanos, but still nice. I have it mounted on a Carbonlite rod. Doing a trial on the reel. Only reason of purchase was that I got a killer deal on it, and the new Chronarch is going to be a flop. This reel is going to be my new "beater" so I can save my Shimanos for tourney duty. It's a little Grundy on the retrieve with 17# Sufix Siege, but after a good few months of use I will tear it down and tune it. Hopefully it will perform a little better.

Im not back. I just came to let you know, that I know, that you bought a Shimano after you told everyone on here that you wouldnt just because of me. Hiding your shame by calling me a tool only further shows what kind of a person you really are. You call it fanboy, I call it 20 years experience fishing with a proven product, and seeing the rest just not hold up to par. I have a lot of time racked up on the water, and learned all I know before this thing called the internet, so good luck with your adventures.

Hey TNBassin', do us all a favor and record the conversation of you explaining to your girl that you have to sell all your Abus and spend some money on Shimanos. At least its over an expensive boat battery. I would take a $2.00 D cell battery over a Abu or Lews. There, I didn't want to disappoint you, lol
