Used to use Bombers back in the day, then switched to a few KVDs. Recently caught a big sale at DSG, and picked up a huge assortment of Bomber Square As, and Shallow As. I personally think that the Bombers outperform the KVDs.

Change the crank and the pinion gear. I dont see why it wouldnt work.

Im 5'7, and my rods are 6'8. My pitching rod is 7'6, and for me it gives me more control to complete the process of the style of casting. The longer rods helps with the straight forward style of slinging the bait.

I dont use fluoro, I use YoZuri, its stronger and more abrasion resiatant.

level is OK. Last time I went out a few weeks ago, the wind was blowing 15mph, and the duck hunters were out there. I didn't get a chance to get into the flats, but its been good out there.

Just get the SX, dont bother with the BPS reel anymore. If your flipping/pitching, the mag brakes will suit you well.

If your going for looks, well, I cant blame you because those Revos are the cats meow when it comes to that. Just be careful with the SX, its a mag only braking system, and they tend to be finicky. I had a Gen2, but it just didnt do it for me with the mag only, so I got an STX and so on......well you get the picture, lol.
