If it's where I think the drag should be set just reeling in the bait the reel makes the drag sound. I could just keep it where it is, but then it isn't much of a fight I guess. Idk. Maybe I'm just being peculiar.

Yea. I bought 2 of the carbon x ii. I only had one spool of line. As soon as I get more, or decide if the small amount is worth putting on ill try the 2nd rod. Maybe I should add the 2 washers they sent?

Today I got my new Dobyns Sierra in. I paired it with my Piscifun Carbon 2. I found old line in a tackle box. I can't afford much rn. It is 12lb copolymer. I took the rod and reel immediately to where I catch smallies almost every time. 3/16 oz weight with zoom cotton candy worm curly tail. One thing I noticed is that if the drag is too loose it will click while reeling in just the bait and weight. We'll when I tightened it it just horsed the bass in. It wasn't really a fight. I do love the rod. The reel is good. But is there anything I can do to solve the issue for the reel, or just keep it a little tighter on the drag? The labor day purchases I got were these 4 reels and 2 Dobyns rods: Piscifun Torrent 2 6.6:1 Torrent 2 8.1:1 (or something close) 2 Carbon X 2 Dobyns Kaden CB Casting 7 4 med hvy fast Sierra 7ft med hvy fast. Labor day weekend i ordered a dobyns cb casting rod, sierra spinning rod, and 4 piscifun reels-2 baitcasters 1 low gear 1 high gear, and 2 spinning reels. In the past I've tried spooling my own line. It didn't work well. I have a fleet farm near me. But people have told me it's mostly inexperienced people there. I also have a Cabelas about an hour away. Do I just go to Cabelas? I was thinking of doing mono to braid for spin, and fluro on the low gear bc and braid on the other bc. Any recommendations?

I recently ordered 2 dobyns, 4 reels, bought a champion xp and curado k last month used, and a lews mach crush with a duckett used last week. I am just saying hi again.

I was looking at a springfield armory xd service model .45 or a ruger sr .45. Both are under 415 dollars. Was just thinking about getting it. I just heard about a shooting at a Miami club and the sick thing in Oklahoma. I cant stand bbeing worried if something is going to happen to me or my family. If i have this then i would feel more comfortable.

She's not open to any weapons except furnace. How is mace beneficial when someone is robbing my house or jumping me for money. I layer my concerns out and states people with guns are three times more likely to get shot.

What are the pros and cons of 9mm ammo and .45 ammo? Also i would love a hand gun, but the wife isn t having it howd you convince your significant other? We travel to a big city and all the bi city people are moving/partying here, plus lots of druggies as well.

Wisconsin carry offers the class free..... I believe. It is four hours. I found a place that rents out guns. 8 $ per hour and I forgot how much for shooting lane plus you buy the bullets there.

I totally understand the concealed carry course is 4 hours. Im not just going to go then get my permit then start carrying the gun without ever practicing or firing it. I do travel to Milwaukee quite a bit. I believe if you have the owners permission at that bar as long as you re not drinking you can carry. Bouncing wouldnt be a good idea with it. I get that. I seen the s and w shield and the springfield xd line both have good reviews.

I work ft at a facory too. I would like a gun for protection. I meant things are getting crazy in the city where I live. The heroin usage is up 600 percent alot of robberies. Stabbings and shootings are happening here in this city too now. I wasnt concerned couple years ago. If I don t have a hand gun and its a concealed carry state, I understand being a bouncer its not bright to have it ok, but why not have it for protection? Is it because I would be new to guns? I see flyfisher stated I shouldn t get one. I was just curious why?

Im fine with learning. It would be for self defense. There was a girl several months ago that was waiving a gun in the hip hop level. The owner doesnt have it posted no guns allowed. I would feel more safe. Some of the people are feom milwaukee. They had 12 shootings there this past weekend. My wife and I travel there as well. I would use it if I had to (the gun). Also I can have more rights with mace in self defense if I have ccw. I would definitely take classes and go to someplace to get acclimated with the gun.

My boss suggested it actually. No other bouncer uses force there. I ve had people threaten me and my life. I'm not saying I would use it. Also wisconsin if you don't drink and you have bar owners permission you can have it This ccw also is beneficial for having mace as well.

Just seen springfield armory xd-s and m lines. What is the difference between 9mm amd .45acs?

I work at a bar as a bouncer. Im possibly going to take ccw class. I have never had or fired a handgun. What would be some good recommendations? I need something that fits in my hands they are big the smith and wesson bodyguard is too small. Id like semi auto. I also would be carrying mace as well.

What are good techniques for cold water/fall smallmouth. I only have stuff for t rigs and tubes, some jigs as well..... The weather here went from 80 to 45-50.
