NEW FISH FISHBURNE SHOW
Sadly his "sponsor" Team Grandma passed away yesterday. He must be doing something right with somebody, he certainly has a list of lovely looking women posting on his facebook. Average southern white guy humor must resinate with someone other than just me.

NEW FISH FISHBURNE SHOW
Just the opposite I think he was targeting the older set. Listen to the background music it wasnt meant for anyone under 50. Hence no crooked NY cap ala gangbanger either. If you think the tree stand idea is stupid, look at the Lakota Cuttrouts they catch off of ladders in California. Thats the great thing about t.v The channels change. I dont have to watch Mark Zona or Charlie Moore so I dont. Same goes for you guys too.

Old Fly Reel Help
Automatic reels dont hold their value like standard reels do. I'd check itinerantangler.com or the fiberglass manefesto blog for help on older fly reels in great shape, somebody there might be able to help you. Also warmfly.com.

Cleaning my Curado 100D - Problem
I believe its called the anti reverse dog. I had a problem with it on my 100D after I disassembled it. I had to seat it again and it worked fine, Ive also read that often the copper fingers get spread out and you need to gently press them alittle closer together.

NEW FISH FISHBURNE SHOW
Probably goes with age. I'd take Fishburne any day over Zona who to me is even worse than Charlie Moore. And I would never had thought that possible. Maybe us older guys could have a show that doesnt have the obnoxious music from the last 10 years and arrogant oaf's with caps on crooked. And no Dance and Martin are for the geriatric brigade!

Your Favorite bass fishing book
Double Whammy by Carl Hiaasen. Its fiction but totally supports my opinion of tournaments! Otherwise anything written by Homer Circle.

Transporting Rods
I'd hate to have to pack my combos in all that luggage if Im beatin' the bank. You'd be packing and unpacking more than fishing. If you dont want to redneck engineer something, check out a fly fishing retailer for a fly rod holder that carries 2-4 outfits via magnets and suction to your hood and roof.

Transporting Rods
My truck is a short bed Chev Colorado and carrying more than a couple of rods meant propping them up over the tailgate. I made a 4 legged, 2 cross bar rod holder out of PVC that I saw posted on the brotherhood of catfishermen website. It props them up and allows the reels to hang free and far apart enough that they donthit each other. I still keep them in reel covers though. Got stick jackets for Christmas so I'll be trying them too.

Casting Reel Advice....REVO, Daiwa, Shimano? I want to do it right the first time!
The reels for you, dont rely on the opinion of invisable internet people! You say your a forever Daiwa fan, then stick with them and you'll be happy. You already use Ambassadeurs for other species, theres lots to be said for sticking with the same equipment across the board. The 5600 is way to big for bass. The 4600C3 is perfect for bass and can handle way tougher.

How many tackle boxes do you have?
Too much tackle for a box or a bag. It all resides in an old entertainment center. How do you guys like using a backpack to carry your stuff? Anybody use one made for fishing tackle like the one they sell at ***?
-
How do you choose a rod length??
Instead of being guided by technique, I am guided by type of fishing condition. I rarely fish large bodies of freshwater. If I do Im always target fishing the shoreline. But mostly Im fishing off a kayak or the bank with heavy growth tight in around me. I only fish with rods 6'8" to 6'3". My two Cumaras are 7'2" and Ive only used them twice. Even better quality longer rods seem tip heavy to me no matter how well the reel balances it.

Spinning reel poll
The CI4 is the shimano that made me swear off shimano forever. One Snook and the eva grip was torqued off the spindle. Part not available, you have to buy the entire handle assembly for a 25cent piece of foam.
-
Low Speed Reel Madness
Susky Dude, you can absolutely use a high speed ratio reel and simply slow down your retrieve. Especially now with high efficiency gearing, HEG for shimano, there is no need to worry about torque when reeling in deep divers the size you use for bass. Now if you were trying to drive in a bigger swimbait then it would drain your energy.

St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass Rods?
I enjoy the Sniper Spinnerbait model alot, The action is perfect. But handle the rod with a reel on it if you can. The handle part of the split grip is so small I have difficulty getting a good grip for single handed casting. And I dont have very big hands.

is terminator going out of business?
Isnt Terminator part of the Rapala/Sufix/Trigger X conglomerate? I wouldnt think it'll go out of business, maybe just total revamping to carry a repackaged version of the other companies in the group.

Which Steez?
Just like there isnt any road you can drive in your floating music box that I cant drive on with my old beater Chev Colorado? Have fun catching those fish on that Sahara, I hope you have better luck than the saltwater guides here who use them as seasonal throw aways. And your right dont bother on the CI4, I cant keep the eva grip on mine. Anyway the point still is...how can you give advise on a Steez if you never even intend to purchase a reel over $79!
-
Which Steez?
Your right about the opinion thing....like if you dont do anything half arse, why did you just buy a Sahara? But your right its just an opinion thing!

How common are shad in "neighborhood lakes"?
Down here in south Fl. all the freshwater has saltwater fish in it. State biologists say wading birds get fish eggs on their feet/legs and introduce them into freshwaters they might fly to next. I never agreed with that notion but maybe......
