  1. Glenn, I didn't take that as political or political party thing, can we not talk honor our soldiers? Just asking.... Your the Mod and it's your job to keep us on the white line and I respect that.
  2. Good, cause I can't tell you. I can tell you it was a hell of a lot of work, by a hell of a lot of people, before the Seals even started training for the mission. Some can say what they want about our Federal Government, but I can tell you first hand there are many non-mil employees ready to make the ultimate sacrifice, and some have, to keep us safe, just so we can say what we want.
  3. Yes it happened, and yes he's fish food. What's more interesting to me is how we found him and verified he was there, right under the eyes of the The Pakistan Military Academy at 34 10'59.69" N, 73 15'12.43" E . You can see his compound on Google Earth at 34 10'09.06" N, 73 14'32.55" E.
  4. Thank you A-Jay, now I know I'm not the only one that practices in the snow; my wife thought I lost my mind.
  5. Get some Practice Plugs, i.e. http://www.basspro.c...13377/#desc-tab I use the assortment Pack that has 1 each of 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 oz. I have neighbors driving by asking if I've caught anything yet. Note: casting in the yard can be a bit hard on the retrieve through the grass if it's lumpy, and casting onto concrete is like sandpaper but the retrieve is a lot easier.
  6. Even Ball Heads have the hook pointing up...... I think
  7. I need a photo of one of these jigs! Unless your making these yourself, I've never seen a commercial jig with the hook point down; it would snag on the bottom too easily. The only use for them would be while trolling in open water; and even at that they would snag anything they got near on deck. IMHO, I don't think there is a upside down jig, I'm from MO - show me
  8. A little Freudian slip there hu.......

  14. Never forget those that served, are serving, and support those who want to serve. Tip: If you would like to show your appreciation, next time you find yourself in line behind a service man/woman, or First Responder, in uniform at a fast food counter, step forward and buy him/her their lunch; I can not describe the rewarding feeling you'll receive in return.
  15. Just so I do forget, I'm devoting my evening to watching the Victory At Sea marathon. :usa-flag-89: :usa-flag-89: :usa-flag-89: :usa-flag-89: :usa-flag-89:
  16. I was going to say "For Mature Minds Only" but thought no one would open it.... I would have bet Long Mike would have been the first one here... Or Road Warrior would have given me a point just on the title

  21. Indeed. Also, on tomorrow's date, November 10th in the year 1775, in a small tavern in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Tun Tavern became the birth place of the United States Marine Corps. 237 years later we celebrate and honor the representation of the world's finest fighting force. IMHO, I feel it fitting that such a fine corps started in a tavern, most probably over a toast; I also raise my glass to all members of the Corps, past & present. Happy Anniversary. As a Army vet, I remember and honor all service members that serve, have served and died for our country. Thank you for your efforts, you have made our Country strong.
