  1. There were several posts where people said they need to stop "junk fishing". Or posts on how to start establishing patterns instead of junk fishing. I think everyone gets hung up on what the pros do, if you are a pro fisherman great. They establish a pattern because they are going to be fishing the same body of water for four or five days. I may get three hours to fish one day a week. there is no way I am going to pass up any possible fish holding cover. Mike
  2. I would not accept a new rod with a missing guide insert. Mike
  3. I didn't get the same thing out of the video. I didn't hear Ike saying not to "junk fish" or that it was a bad thing??? Mike
  4. You had me at 850 lbs of crawfish. I love traveling to LA. Sorry if that is off topic. Mike
  5. Black Lab, Abaco's Princess Bellisima, Bella. Mike
  6. With all due respect Bassn BLVD, if someone keeps asking him to buy the boat and the buyer takes it at 4K, the seller has no responsibility. If someone kept bugging me to sell something and I did, it's on them, "buyer beware". I would take $K in a heartbeat for the boat he describes. As described, he never misrepresented the boat. Mike
  7. I've been three times. Once in April (the trout to the left cam efrom this trip). Was there twice in mid-August for silvers. May I suggest a stop in Ninilchik, not sure of the spelling, just to see. It is an old Russian fishing village. Have agreta trip. Talkeetna is pretty cool too. Mike

  11. Hendrix is a given, then probably Randy Rhodes. When it comes to bass, Steve Harris from Maiden is at the top of my list. Mike
  12. I have never had any problem traveling with reels. I've been to AK three times, and outside of some rough rod handling (my buddies rods), no issues. Mike
  13. Thanks for the info, I'll check in the box. Thnak you, Mike
  14. I just realized I put this in the wrong forum, sorry about that. Thanks, I like it how it is, just didn't know if it would do any damage. Mike
  15. I lost four of the clips (cups) little plastic thingys on the brake. I know it was stupid, happened almost in slow motion. Anyway, they are opposing sides so nothing out of balance, will it do any harm to the reel not using (having) them in the reel? Mike
  16. Call a local Notary they will have the info. Mike
  17. I read before from a famous gunwriter something to the effect that one is none and two is one. Mike

  19. Kaley Cuoco : )...but seriously my father and he didn't fish. Mike
  20. Try the knot that PowerPro suggests for their braid, it is excellent. I never have a problem with it. If you are using a big lure. it takes d**n near two feet of line to use the palomar. Mike
  21. I put garlic scent in most all my plastics so those stay in their bags. Mike
