  1. I always try to buy Japanese/American made reels and I'll settle for Korean.. But I'll admit.. That looks nice.
  2. I have a TFO Lefty Kreh TiCr X 8'0 7W Rod matched with an Orvis Mach 3, it's sweet, oh so sweet.
  3. I got Lucky Craft Hi-Vis top water line.
  4. Grayling, small stream trout and Char. I'm also bringing my 10yo Loomis Steelhead rod I got at a thrift shop.
  5. I'm going up to Alaska for a fishing trip and I need a quality travel rod I can depend on. Are these any good? It's basically a 2 piece Compre and they slap the word travel on it. I'm looking at the 6ft medium power with a fast action an I'm gonna match it with either a micro president or the next model.
  6. Lol Hun I'm not that smart with reels and rods! Hehehe.
  7. I've only killed 5 bass in my life from mis-handling. I've kept a couple to do a favor to the population, but for the most part, I practice catch and release.
  8. I use a president bc for my frog fishin. Amazing reel.. Expensive though.
  9. Hahaha!!!
  10. I'd give em everything but the falcon and Abu haha.
  11. That's terrible man.. I'm sorry. Losing a dog is probably one of the hardest things I've gone thru.
  12. I have 2 built in dressers in my room, one is for clothes and one is for tackle. 6 drawers full of tackleboxes, lure boxes, line, leaders, reels everything hahaha.
  13. 2 of the Shimano Sellus, 6'8" medium, fast action dropshot rods. Beautiful looking rod! Well built and it feels great! Have them paired up with presidents.
  14. True.. I was thinking for freshwater.
  15. In my opinion, the Shimano Curado is way over rated. I didn't care for the old nor the new model. The only Curado I will ever use is the Shimano Curado 300 FJ. I got one and I love it, it's super smooth and great for Umbrella and double up rigs. Stick with Lew's and you'll be satisfied.
  16. Just stick with the companies that are known for rods. St. Croix, All-Star, Daiwa.
  17. A topographical map will not show you structure or contours of the body of water. A hydro map will show you the contours of the water and structure. You can view these in PDF format and download them by quads on the ISGS.org website. Hydro maps are the most useful to fishermen.
  18. I'm unsure man. Ya just gotta poke around the GOV sites.
  19. I was mistaken I'm used to getting them for free because of my dad's job.
  20. http://water.usgs.gov/GIS/huc.html These are not free but cheaper. I get them for free because my dad is a topographical Army engineer.
