  1. My trokars do that.. I use Owner and Gamakatsu. That Jeremy Wade guy uses those and he tackles huge fish and they don't bend so I go by that.
  2. I use spinning gear with sinking braid.
  3. I've never had any problems with Rapala. They are good to me. Kopper's is better though.
  4. Rat-l-trap, salt shaker.
  5. I'm an avid fly fisherman, trout is kinda my speciality in the Western VA streams, but I've recently started tying on flies for bass. South Carolina has some monster bass, use Bett's Poppers, cork bugs anything with significant size will lure out the biguns. I use an 8'6, 6 Weight, Two Seventy rod with an Orvis Access MA lll. I use White River Bass Taper floating line with 24 inches of Seaguar Grand Max Flurocarbon Tippet rated for 9 pounds.
  6. Don't give up. The bass are in there man. It's only a matter of time before one bites your bait.
  7. Naa, white looks absolutely disgusting when dirty. All colors work the same. I'm a hockey goalie, I know everything about stick grips.
  8. hell no! Haha. She doesn't care exactly. But I want it to be perfect like her! Haha. I think the white rod looks sweet.
  9. That's what I was just looking at. It would look nice.
  10. 243 and 30-30 for eastern deer, 30-06 for anything in the Midwest.
  11. I think I might just go with the Sellus.. It may not match but it does look kinda nice.. It's simple, there isn't much going on. I'll have to see about the cherrywoods at Walmart. Thanks guys.
  12. Do they still make cherrywoods? That might match? I'm half colorblind, turns out I thought the president was grey for the longest time.. It's teal blue.
  13. The guy at my local tackle shop recommended it because the reel is gonna be fished in brackish water, these bearings and gears can withstand full on saltwater now. He replaced all the parts for me to make it basically a saltwater reel for about 30$ How are the Powell diesel spinning rods?
  14. I LOVE THOSE! Make a patriotic shad! Red White and Blue! Haha.
  15. My Ugly-stick, 6'0 medium action.. I've caught my All my big 7+ pounder on that thing. Got an old Daiwa SS on it.
