P-Line Stop Glue For Knots?
It's a gimmick in my opinion. If you goto the fly shop at basspro, they have rubber crimps that go over the leader knot, you put a lighter to it and press it down. It allows the line to go thru the guides smoother than if were just the knot.

Ya wanna know what the best combo in the world is? The G-Loomis GL2 casting rod matched with an Ardent Edge Inshore Pro, by far the best thing since sliced bread. I had mine but I sold it.. I still have the reel though. Maybe you should look at that combo.

Tips For A 100 Acre Lake
So there is this lake by my house, run by the VDGIF and so far I've only pulled out 6 nice sized bass around 3lb all on spinnerbaits.. The record at this lake is 13lbs and I'm just getting frustrated I want bigger bass. So far BASSclary and I are the only ones pulling bass out of this water that I know of. However I have a kayak, and 90% I fish in one, so I need some advice for this lake. The lake has heavy structure, 100 or so standing trees and deadfall ( perfect structure ) I know the lake runs about 18 to 30 feet deep possibly deeper around the drainage well. I've tried everything from football jigs to cranks, senkos, top water and nothing seems to be hitting! I'm gettin to the point where I'm just gonna give up on this lake and ask the farmer if I can fish his pond. Any advice? ( the lake is called Lake Curtis in Stafford County VA )

P-Line Stop Glue For Knots?
I use it, it's okay. Don't get me wrong, I works, but from what I've heard from other forum members, you're better off learning to perfect the knot.

What's The Worst Thing That's Ever Happened To You While Fishing?
Last year I was dock fishing on the Potomac and I slipped off the dock into the shallows, By chance my shin landed on a cement slab underwater. The cement had pencil thick rebar protruding out of it and one of them impaled my shin about an inch and a half deep. I was thrashing underwater as I could not get my leg off the rebar, it must have taken me 15 seconds to rip my shin off the rebar. Adrenaline kept the pain down but it wouldn't stop bleeding. Fixed it up and I kept fishing, now a week later it was healing fine, a nurse looked at it and gave me the thumbs up. Fast forward 3 weeks my left leg ( the one that got injured by rebar ) was 3 times the size of my other leg, I knew something was wrong, I could not stand and when I tried I felt liquid in my entire leg, I went to the ER and it turned out I had gotten MRSA, luckily they were able to save my leg but man.. That was scary.

Spinning Rod Suggestions
The rod is not the best for the price. IMO. You shouldl look at the Dobyns Savvy series. They are the same price but perform way better.

Is Buying A Spooling Station Worth It?
x2 for 30$ I could get 20 bags of hand poured soft baits from my tackleshop. Or I could get some sweet line spools.

Dilemma
You won't regret it, just make sure you reel it for a long time, leave it for a week with the toothpaste and grease mix inside and every chance you get reel it. Make sure 100% of the toothpaste is rinsed off under a sink ( make sure you always keep the reel over a strainer Incase a part falls ) then really grease everything, Ardent's reel grease and tournament grade ardent oil is the only stuff I'll use.

Dilemma
Nope:) it's one of the oldest ways to clean a reel. When somethings rough when I reel that's what I do.

Dilemma
Take off the side of the reel where the gears are exposed.. Mix a 50/50 solution of Colgate toothpaste and reel grease and slather it on all the gears. Close it back up and manually engage the gears ( reel it ) for 8 - 20 hours. Just at night when your sitting down watching the tv reel it for a little and put it away when your wrist gets tired. After about a week of reeling it, take off the side, wash off the gears really well, grease everything up and oil what should be oiled, close it back up and you have yourself a perfect reel.
