  1. I currently use a 7' medium light action rod for my vibrax spinners, anybody else have any rod suggestions for inline spinners?
  2. Simple as that, tell me your favorites. My favorites. 1. McCoy V-Twin Spinnerbait 2. Booyah Super Shad Quad Blade Spinnerbait 3. Yamamoto Heavy Wire Spinnerbait 4. Lucky Craft Redemption Spinnerbait Double Willow Spinnerbait 5. Booyah Pond Magic Spinnerbait.

  4. Potomac river never stops amazing me.
  5. Okay so look at this bass, odd spots along the lateral line of the fish, different jaw structure. It's probably a largemouth but that pattern is really rare in my area. Most of the bass where I live have this pattern.. See the difference? Can anyone explain to me why they look so different? NOTE: The bass in the second picture was released, the stringer was for picture taking purposes.
  6. Yep, we're going to Curtis and Lunga instead
  7. Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted a review, Just thought I should put this up here. A few weeks ago I was at my local Wal-mart and I was browsing the fishing section, picked up the new Slyder reel. For 15$. WHAT?! I was so amazed I bought 3 of them. They have a MSRP of 69$!!!!! I GOT 3 FOR 45$!! Anyway, I was pretty impressed with the reel, it's got 5BB + 1 at 7.0:1. Smooth reel although I prefer my Ardent Edge's and my Chronarchs. For 15$ you can't beat it. It holds EXACTLY 100 yards of 17lb Sufix siege, I have it rigged for Carolina rigs and Dropshots, It's a fairly quiet reel, zero backlash. I love the slide wheel, it allows me to creep the rig along the bottom of the weed beds and docks. I've caught like 20 some odd 3+ pounders on it and handles them well. NOW it does feel a little cheap in your hand but trust me, it's pretty d**n good and in my opinion it beats any Okuma reel. It weighs like 8oz I think I don't know. I have them on some of my finesse rods. Works like gold. I would recommend it. 8/10.
  8. phew that's pricey.. thanks!
  9. She's my girlfriend, Haha.
  10. I'm diggin the old one;)
  11. Black Ford Ranger, Year 2000. 4" lift with mud tires. Not white haha.
  12. I got a huge Gamakatsu single hook all the way through the tendon that connects your thumb to your index finger. I left it in there and kept fishing for the rest of the day.
  13. Hey don't be a mojo bass hater, they are good rods. Not the best. But good.
  14. haha, sorry ya don't like em. I use them for tube fishing. Works perfect. I also use them on my snakehead hunting excursions.
  15. na must not have been you then. Anyways yeah, Lunga is pretty hot right now, even on the docks. I almost always catch a 5lb there. In trying to think, they only allow 10HP motors at Lunga. Believe it or not Curtis is doing pretty well too.
  16. I'm going bass fishing this weekend on the river and I need some tips for bass because the cranks aren't working here. Would tubes work? I hand pour mine in a blueish silver coloration to match the herring. Anybody know of any good teqniques for this river? I'll be launching the kayak in Fredericksburg.
  17. Those catfishermen can be jerks.
  18. that's what we will probably do, hopyard landing.
  19. Didn't we meet on Abel? I was in a kayak.. Back in January. Either that or I've just seen ya out there. Anyway, all I catch in Abel are Bowfins and 2lb bass. I do know that Fort A.P. Hill has some amazing pond fishing. But if you're looking to get your boat out there I suggest Lunga Reservoir or the city docks of Fredericksburg. My girl and I are going out to the docks Saturday to kayak fish, we are probably gonna drive up to Lunga too.
  20. oh I know, but it comforts me. Hahaha!!!
  21. I just did too! Shall we dance? Haha
  22. you're right haha. 6lb is hardcore. WOO MY 100th POST!
