Make sure to set the mag brakes to zero prior to adjusting the tension knob, once the tension is set to a slow fall set the mags back to your preference.

I like the small ones, been using silver/black and white.

The husky jerk is good but you should also get some x-raps, they love fast erratic action, just zip it along and they will crush it.

I actually think my JM Carbonlite is my longest bomber, it will flat out zing a lipless crank. That's also going up against my Chronarch 50 & 200 as well as a Lews Tourny SS.

I have had really good luck with P Line, doused in L&L it just flows smoothly off the reel.

Should go feel up a BPS Carbonlite and see what you think.

I swear I think I scared one out of his scales this weekend, threw in a senko that went plop, as soon as it hit the bass actually jumped out of the water, I gave him a second saw the line go sideways and I just crossed his eyes...was quite funny!!

Should be fine, my Chronarchs do the same thing and have not had any issues...knock on wood!

Well seeing as I tore billy bass a new one on a Zoom fluke this morning, that's my fave right now!! Love my senkos and trick worms too.

Was able to get out this morning and fished one of the ponds at the 120th st exit down in Miami. Absolutely killed them on a watermelon seed fluke.

I have been having some really good action fishing the turnpike ponds. I think I lost my PB at the Okeechobee rd exit a few weeks ago. I will be heading out there this weekend for a rematch!

Also, I know the JM Carbonlite got a bad rep when they came out. I recently got one 6:4 and its a flat out casting machine and very smooth..

Yeah I know some of the SA stores cleared out their fishing sections, I get mine from the Homestead store.

Tad short for my liking but should work great if you are fishing from under a bush..
