  1. Should say beman ^^^
  2. Look at be an ics hunter, good price for a decent arrow
  3. That is the most exciting part of the turkey hunt for me, calling, then they call back. My heart beats a mile a minute when that happens. Bagging the bird is just icing on the cake after that.
  4. I paid $99 for a new cumara recently from TW. Havent had the chance to use it yet, but if It fishes ad well as the reviews are I would say that is a pretty good rod for under $100.
  5. Does anyone have both left and right handed reels in there arsenal?
  6. This is the same one I received as well, It says next generation precision tuned. I got the 7 m
  7. I grabbed one of those quantum rods at cabelas as well. Put a sedona I have on it.
  8. I am fairly new to baitcasters. I have a revo s and sx, bpq, a daiwa strikeforce and a not used yet shimano curado 300ej. I really like them all but probably prefer the sx the most. But the daiwa strikeforce does a really good job for the money I paid for it.
  9. You have yourself a nice boat, hope it brings you lots of great days on the water
  10. I am going to try this knot out this year as well. Thanks for the link!
  11. I was able to get it in my cart at $119, and shipping was free. So far I have been able to avoid the impulse buy.
  12. I figured I would need to go bigger on the baits if I bought that rod. Thanks for your input, the nocluefisher name is for a reason.
  13. I just use the soft body 4 inch swimbaits. I am very new to technique and gear specific equipment so you will have to excuse my lack of knowledge. It sounds like it could be a good match for my curado 300 ej.
  14. Tackle warehouse has this rod on sale for $150. I love throwing swimbait more than anything else, what will I notice differently with this compared to my veritas 6"9 mh i currently use. I have never fished a rod at 7"10' either. Not sure how comfortable it would be for me.
  15. I have never used flourocarbon before, but I just picked up some invizx today in 4lb test, ( i bought 200 yd for 12 bucks) I also bought a 600 yd spool of 12lb yozuri to try.
  16. You say that now, but it seems there is always more stuff to buy.
  17. What I get from this is you spent 24 years in the army and still managed to avoid learning anything about integrity, duty or honor. But as long as you can still look in the mirror I guess that is all that matters. I know if I call in sick the only ones I am putting it too is my coworker who has to pick up my slack. I have a feeling some people do not care enough about their coworkers for that to matter.
  18. Cabelas has the fenwick silverhawk on sale from $99 to $49. I bought one but have yet to use it. There is a thread on that rod from the last few days.
  19. I just grabbed a 7' mh at cabelas for $49.
  20. I actually only paid 139 for it, that is why I was forced to buy it.
  21. I just recently aquired my first curado. A 300ej. It was at a price I could not refuse. The MSRP at the large box store was $269. Was this real way overpriced at $269? This is actually my first shimano baitcaster anf I am pretty excited to use it, currently only owned revo sx , revo s and bpq.
  22. I am a member but not active. I log in and lurk. I like seeing the kill photos and reading the stories
  23. I bought a 6'9" mh veritas off of ebay last year for $79 shipped, but not with micro guides.
  24. huntingbeast.com has alot of good info, as does huntingnet.com
  25. I have a couple scoutguards. They take AA batteries and last for up to 6 months. The sg 550 is my favorite and can be had for around 139 bucks
