Sebago Lake State Park
I fished Sebago Lake this morning. I had 7 smallies and a largemouth in the boat in the first hour, then it went cold. Ned rig was on fire.

Sebago Lake State Park
My buddy lives on the lake, we catch mostly smallies, along the rocks on the banks. You can find some back water in areas where there will be some largemouth. do yourself a favor and hit little sebago once. There is a public launch there and the largemouth fishing can be good. I usually fish there every weekend.

Who uses a Boat Cover?
My boat is only a couple months old, but if it is going to rain I cover mine. If not than no cover goes on it. My boat came with the cover.

Show off your Stuff
Just got a Tatula Type R100xs in 8.1-1. Put it on my 7' MH Tatula xt. My first daiwa baitcaster. When I get my boat back this week from the marina I look forward to pitching around docks and structure with some jigs with it. Spooled it with some 20lb segaur senshi. Can't post pics anymore so you all can visualize how pretty it is.

Boat negotiation with cash-in-hand
According to the nitro website there are some 2016 z18's within a couple hundred miles of you. I would reach out and see what they will do for you. They are at independent dealers also so they should get you a good price.

Boat negotiation with cash-in-hand
2 weeks ago. I was looking on nitro website and found a 2016 z18 was for sale in my state at a dealer who has several locations. I went to the local one to just inquire about it. The no haggle price was $32k with dealer prep and freight. I was going to see if they would go down to $30k. Before I said anything the dealer said that boat is $28995, but I will let it go for $27995. I asked if the was out the door figuring they would add on all kinds of fees and what not, he said yes. I was shocked and excited, had them bring the boat to my local dealer so I could take it for a spin. Then bought it. Only other cost was my state sales tax.

Boat negotiation with cash-in-hand
I bought a nitro z18 4K below the no haggle price, but it was a leftover.

Beginning the purchasing process
I will leave it docked occasionally for a couple of days, but be trailering it a majority of the time. I don't have an auto bilge currently, so I will update that.

Beginning the purchasing process
Took my father out for the first time today. We had a good time, and caught some fish. I am really getting comfortable with the boat, I am very happy I did not settle on the aluminum, this boat is a blast to drive. Can't wait to get my lowrance elite 7ti installed. For some reason I cannot load pictures any more.

Beginning the purchasing process
First weekend with the boat was great. Caught some fish, did a lot of driving to break the motor in. My wife had a good time, she caught more fish than me. The maxxum moved the boat around fine.

I have a single axle and a has a mercury 150. The 115 comes on the z17. It is a 2016 leftover so I got it for over 4K below MSRP.

I am now the owner of a 2016 nitro z18. I feel I got a really good deal, can't wait to start breaking it in tomorrow.

Beginning the purchasing process
My hunt should be over. I am buying the nitro z18. Waiting for call back from marina. Either way I am not maxing myself out on the boat, the payment will not put a dent in our disposable income. Comes with maxxum 70lb TM that I will upgrade next year if I am not satisfied with it,and I will upgrade electronics at some point. I am only a weekend angler so I am only concerned with getting on the water right now. In the end I am buying the boat I can grow into. The crestliner was great, but I would want to upgrade within a couple of years. My wife said buy the one you want to keep for a while, because you are not trading it in in a couple of years. Who am I to argue with her?
