First Boat! Ranger RT198P vs. Ranger glass
The Ranger rT188 has a MAX hp of 115HP. so you won't be getting a 150 on that. The new RT198 will support a 150 though.

Motor or prop issue!?
If your RPMS are increasing out of the hole but your speed is not picking up, you may have a spun hub. Pretty easy to tell. It will feel like you're in neutral while hammering down. Easiest way to find out is put a mark on the inner race of the prop and then on the hub itself. Take off and check the marks. If they are way off, you have a spin hub. If they are a hair off, it's fine and no the hub. If by bogging down you mean you give it gas and the RPMS aren't increasing past the 2-2.5k ish range and you're boat wants to die, you may have a duel restriction or a number of other things. Make sure the issue isn't the prop before you start on the motor.

Is This True?
It's false.

Water coming out of drain above lower motor mount
Did it work at one point? I'm sure Way2Slow would know for sure but any water pressure line I've seen went to the block of your engine usually (sometimes on the head) near the top cylinders into a brass fitting. The lines that come off the lower unit are generally for the useless speedometer.

Was thinking the same thing. Prescott hype is bradford 2015 but at least hes backup so its not that bad. Eagles def will be good....until the late 3rd/4th of every game when they have been on the field after every 3 and out bradford puts them in :).

Buzzbait dedicated rod..like
I'm not a braid fan unless it's necessary but I've been using braid on buzzbaits all summer and really like it. I do fish them around a lot of vegetation though which is why I am using braid now. No issues around wood, either. Same rod I use buzz frogs on.

Honestly that situation is exactly why we decided on a shorter bench. It's actually pretty fun having to make that decision with such a unique, small league that we have. Just something to set it apart from simply drafting your handcuffs, getting upside players late, and then going through the motions in the WW. Every team is essentially a dream team coming out of the draft more or less in a 8 teamer. Having to decide between having a player in the same bye week as well as what to do on bye weeks is what makes this format exciting. Let's just say nobody starts a RB in the flex and everybody starts 4 WR. The WORST RB started is just based off ADP is Latavius Murray. The WORST WR started is John Brown at ADP 32. If everybody keeps the 5 WR max on their team the waiver wire will still be stacked with lots of talent and upside. Same goes for RB. I do understand where you are coming from though and there is merit to making it a 6 bench no cap on players. Would that be more ideal? I could get behind that if that would make others happy as well. Being that we are a small league, I do prefer to keep the bench spots short to reduce player hording and making it less competitive. Would you guys rather have an uncapped 6 person bench instead of a 6 person bench with player limits? Please let me know ASAP.

I see what you're saying and would agree with you if the league was deeper. It's highly unlikely that more than 8 tight ends maybe nine are going to be drafted and aside from bye weeks or the occasional injury you're never going to touch that position. If you're the type that wants to play a wide receiver in your flex then at the bare minimum you're looking at wide receiver 25 to 30 in your flex which in most lakes is a wr2/3 which has more upside and probably a higher floor then the number 10 tight end. Same argument goes for running back except that your flex position you can be playing rb17-20. Unless you have gronk and hit on your wide receivers perfectly in the draft you're not playing a tight end in your flex position. Do you want me to remove tight end all together from the flex or all together and keep the tight end in the flex ? I believe the gronk owner last year finished dead last. Just going off last year I wanted to make the rosters that were being played week to week as large as possible with a shallow bench because there was a HUGE amount of talent from the player pool left on the waiver wire. It wasn't just back ups that were left there. Players like Latavius Murray, Justin forset, I don't think anyone owned any Brown's running back ever, eric decker, and so on we're always available. That was the point behind making a deeper roster. I believe last year we had the same bench size. The only change that was made this year was adding a wide receiver spot. The reason behind the short bench, and if any of you remember last year who played, the waiver wire was chocked full of talent on a weekly basis. It seemed like a third of the way through the season it was pretty much a set it and forget it type of league which got pretty stagnant due to the fact that our lineup was more so based off a 12 person . The short bench is to ensure activity between everybody and making it so people are not hoarding skill position players in an eight team league. Last year when certain players got hurt their back ups were sitting on the waiver wire for 2 to 3 weeks because people just did not need to use the waiver wire . Again this is due to an eight person league where everyone pretty much has a dream team coming out of the draft. However, if you guys would like an additional roster spot for a certain skill position, please come to an agreement amongst yourselves and I'll make the changes you guys want. I can see the argument for adding a running back spot to the bench (making it five max ) but adding a wide receiver on top of the five already is excessive for an 8 teamer

First Boat! Ranger RT198P vs. Ranger glass
He doesn't want a glass boat. I would go for the ranger everytime here. that tin looks really, really nice. However, the RT188 is more than enough boat for the both of you if to save a few thousand dollars.

Yes. The gauge will be mounted on your dash and there will be a rubber hose that attaches to the back of the gauge. You run the rubber hose back to your engine. If you're sitting at the consul and you turn around and look at the engine with the cowling off I believe there should be a 1/8 in brass plug on the left side of the engine near the cylinder. It might be a little ways down but it should be there. If you're behind the enginee it would be the top right . Use thread sealent /teflon tape when connecting it. if you want to get an lcd/digital water pressure gauge then it the set up and installation will be slightly different.

Problem: water leaking into boat from plug or plug hole?
Marine dealership would be my first choice. It's a longshot to Gander Mountain would have them but I suppose it's possible. no, not all vents are the same size. Just take a tape measure and measure the diameter and circumference

You should have a water PSI gauge on your dash. If you don't, I would highly suggest getting one. Aside from the tachometer it's one of the most important gauges you can have on your boat. You can get it for under 50 bucks and it's very easy to install Your idle video looks normal and not worrisome at all. I can't really tell in the second video what it's doing it's really hard to see. unless he tested the boat in the water or in a big tank hooked up to the computer, the print out won't tell you anything helpful for water pressure. You need back pressure to get an accurate reading

Problem: water leaking into boat from plug or plug hole?
The live well vent holes will be down by your plug. They'll be much larger in circumference then your plug hole and most likely have a vent looking cover over them. You can get covers At a lot of places to cover them up so water does not go in or out of your live wells. Also there's another hole next to your drain plugs that is for your live well as well. Plug that too. Basically plug both of the holes and put vent covers over the live well vents. If you do this and then put the boat in the water and water does not come in anywhere then you know you have a live well plumbing problem And is it very difficult to find out where at that point. If you do do this correctly and water still comes in, you may have some structural damage you can't see.

Problem: water leaking into boat from plug or plug hole?
Plug your livewell vents with covers and put it in the water. If the leak stops, you have a leak/crack in your livewell plumbing. If it doesnt stop, you may have a leak in the hull. No idea if stratos transfers hull warranties.

SS vs. Alum
I'm sure you're aware you can't just slap on any prop and expect identical results as your other. Your issue isn't SS vs Alum. You have the wrong SS prop for your boat/engine and possibly an unbalanced SS prop. A 115hp or 75hp (i'm not sure what you have as you reference both) can and does turn a SS prop very, very well. This is a pretty simple problem. If you want to run the SS prop, find what pitch it is and go up or down based on the specifications you want. If you don't want to do that, use the alum and sell the SS.
