You are correct. Me on the other hand, can't keep all my TDZs in order. I must have put one of my 103s on the 742 and my 100m on another dx. The us trail tag is worn off of that 100m so i must have confused them. Ive swapt spools around and the gap is annoying. Ive had line get in it on an og zillion and a 100. I dont use the 100 for much under 5/16oz + plastic and heavy fluoro. the r+ spool is really nice for everything.

There really isnt an alternative. Pay to play. As for hooks, i use screw in 5/0 wide gaps for the 4.8 fats.

It's a great little reel. I lied in my post about the spool. I always forget this is in there. Whoever sold me this reel either forgot about it being in there or was just being a sweetheart. He graciously left me a TDZ Type R+ spool. I have a couple Type R+ reels. They are my favorite.

You paid 1.47 for 5 hooks...what did you realistically expect? I got a few packs last year. Havent had any issues though.

I really only carry Black (or Brown if you desire) or White in walking and popping. I do also carry the chartreuse/leopard belly color because for the life of me I can't figure out why but there's an area I fish that a yellow/chartreuse belly frog just out produces black/white. Generally, I could probably be good /w a Black frog most of the time.

I'm a fan of Guidewear. I've spoken to a few people that have the Simms rain gear and others that are planning on buying it. They love it and want it. If I needed one, that's the one I'd look it but that price tag is hard to swallow. I'm not sold on HuK yet.

@Grantman83Just bought this rod and might be able to help you. He might be a bit biased on the length because it's the first rod in 28 years he has used that's over 6'6. No idea if he has thrown a swimbait with it. He would have to take them out of his purse to use them first.

You saw very little of them so far This isn't spoiling anything as it was mentioned in the show. If you watched the episode closely (maybe 2 weeks ago) they mention that when Negan first meets a group of people, he kills one of them /w his bat that is wrapped in spikes. one of the saviors had Polaroids of all the times Negan has done this on his wall 2 episodes ago. If you put 2+2 together, Negan does this in the comics /w Rick and Co when they finally meet and will almost certainly do it in the shows finale. If you don't want to know who it is in the comics, don't google anything about Negan. For those that do know, I have a feeling the person in the comic that gets it doesn't get it in the show. I think it will be somebody else. The creator said that it's going to "take a hard left turn" from the comics so who knows. Either way, the Negan vs Rick Era might be the best TV yet.

No, Negan has not made an appearance on the show yet. When the two groups do finally meet, it's epic. I have a feeling this will most likely be the final scene of the season before summer break. It will make for one heck of a cliffhanger. It's already been said we won't see Negan until the last episode of this season. The saviors are all very loyal and you will find out why shortly. Negan makes the Governor look like Big Bird.

It's normal. Hooking a fish on the outside of the mouth or on the gills is a product of a fish slapping at the jerkbait.

I don't use it for softbaits, sorry. I only use it for rods that have treble hook baits attached. Never had an issue /w bleeding /w them being rained on.
