Welcome to the site! When I lived in Winchester redwing black birds were always close to the reeds around the ponds

Florida Bass Fishing - January Edition
It varies. Strike zone on beaches has more high end or pro stuff but limited selection. They also sell bitters bait. Academy has grande bass and big bite bait stuff. Dicks is good well rounded has some good sales. That is where I got the incredi craws. Gander is ok, I usually on get sale stuff there. But everything on sale I bought has produced and they are more funky of colors than usual lol Walmart for hard baits sometimes you can get spooks, rebel minnows for $3 and mirrolure are a couple bucks cheaper.

Gambler Big Ez - Amazing Lure!!
Yeah the one in Orlando has limited styles of what they stock, EZ otter and flappin shad are all I seen. Gambler has their own site look there to see all the colors and baits. their swim jigs are nice too. or the typical TW type sites carry the popular items.

Gambler Big Ez - Amazing Lure!!
I like gamblers stuff, haven't tried the EZ yet though. Just isn't really my style of fishing. I was talking to Lou about picking some up. But their ribbon tails and other products are just as good too!

Pinellas County Pond Fishing
Then I would look around on articles/youtube or in the lure section of this site on different ways to work them(meaning retrieve ie hops, sweeps dragging etc.) See if you pick up any new ideas you haven't tried yet. And remember if you think your going slow and don't get bit...slow down even more! Something I forget all the time and pay with the ol skunker.

Pinellas County Pond Fishing
Trick worms either Texas rigged or weightless Weightless can be on top with more of a jerk retrieve or slow roll it....centipede I do Texas with a super light weight or split shot/mojo rig or wacky rigged. And the lizard always Texas rigged for me.

Pinellas County Pond Fishing
Yeah I didn't have much luck at first with ribbon tails but then I read a little and tried harder now they are a staple....also when the going gets slower or in the summer try smaller stuff like a centipede or trick worm. Brushhogs and craws texas rigged are a good change of pace too. And you cannot forget a lizard. Sometimes it helps to do the opposite of what guys are throwing and not catching and to do the same thing if they are catching. LOL

Jacksonville Ponds
AK is opposite me LOL he is a power fisher while I use more slow plastics. Trick worms, brush hogs, craws, ribbontails, lizards, rattlesnakes all texas rigged with light weight, 1/16 up to 1/4...then some weightless like senkos, rattlesnakes and trick worms. flukes too. Vibe worms, horny toads or buzzbaits on top. I will use lipless cranks, pop-rs and walk the dog baits in spring and early summer. Started with the frog cuz of Lou and LMG...booyah padcrasher. just started with jigs, my buddy has done well on them so I figured I would joing the party. Just started with spinnerbaits too. I throw cranks and jerkbait ocasionally.

Jacksonville Ponds
Sent you a PM....Yeah I sometimes if not sure I scope it out first. I stay away from anything with a sign no matter what. Some of the residential areas can post small tricky ones. But most places, especially industrial and Business parks are cool.

Pinellas County Pond Fishing
After thinking there is also crescent lake on 22nd ave but that is obvious. One that might be good is the park on 13 ave n right by 275. Google earth it. Been there a couple times the had up signs about fish and the lake. Worth a shot, you can walk the entire thing and it is deep
