Jeeze Martin I thought you did computers for a living I ran into this yesterday, took a while but I finally found it(yes I want a medal) only by chance. THAT IS FDOT AND THEY ARE POSTED, MY PARENTS LIVE IN THE APT THEY HAVE SIGNS UP ALL ALONG THE PARKING LOT. AND I TALKED TO A GUY WHO SAID NO FISH. PEOPLE USED TO CAMP AND 4 WHEEL BUT POLICE HAVE BEEN AROUND SINCE THINGS ARE GETTING CONSTRUCTED. IF THERE IS EQUIPMENT ON THE SITE THEY ARE PRETTY PROTECTIVE OF THAT BECAREFUL. sorry for the caps post

For Fdot public right of ways that is turn but a private owner uhm that is a no go. U know this is florida bud, you trespass on private property u can get shot or the dogs turned loose lol...

I have no plans to fish it, it is all private land either Jea, fdot or private party and that is a no go for me. I am more curious on the location and size of the development. I design these for a living trying to imagine the location, site access then earthwork is fun....for me.

So where is it at? And I assume the stocked fish arent too big either, guess they are there get them to fatten up?

Something i didnt mention is when you see the bait schooling and the bass busting that is the time to reach for a fluke. Work it on/towards the top if not then throw it into the pack and let it fall through and u are sure to get hit. But like LMG said your observations will tell u what technique to use.

If u wanna do your homework AK permits and plans are all public record. If they are approved you can view the plans and track the progress. The one thing I am clueless on is location. It is most definitely in St. John's county. That said look at the county line map as it cuts across racetrack. Now u been on 9b yet...couple ponds there that were constructed few years back. Also a pond on the substation off Phillips that is gated. Google earth it. That large property down Phillips has ponds past 9b and it also has a fwc office there, right as u turn left off racetrack onto Phillips

I do get it! With baseball more than anything I am a fan of the game more than a particular team, the history and what the game has meant to Aamerica is so much more than most people these days are aware. So I have a couple of "my" teams but when they aren't involed I can usually find a respectable story or interest in the teams involved to root for.

I am really a fan of neither team and was speaking on an interesting story line standpoint. But you have brought up something I overlooked. and something I enjoy even better....rooting for the underdog, journeyman, unexpected hero......Nava and his rise along with the others that filled the roles on the team are a better story than Crawford or Gonzalez. It would also be a display of "big names and big money don't win WS". I also love big Papi's attitude towards the city and the team. Also his triumph over injury is a great story and what a way to finish a winding down career...I am sold! LA vs Boston WS with BoSox winning! I cannot forget Lackey's resurgence, I felt bad for that guy last season the terrible numbers, divorce, injuries. He put that behind him this yr. Go Bosox!!!

I know we got a ways to go but wouldn't it be kinda ironic if LA meets Boston in the WS. Even better, no disrespect to the BoSox, if Crawford and Gonzalez led LA to a win. Just saying that matchup could be very interesting and dramatic.

Texas rig fishing, the only time I cannot feel anything is when the weigh is not on the bottom so tend I agree with what Seibert said the weight is too light or you are reeling too hard/fast(swimming it not keeping contact) or both. Even with at 1/16 and a plastic worm you can feel it dig into the muck or an intital tick and some resistance if it hits weeds or a limb. I fish a lot of soft bottoms where it goes from muck/slime to weeds lines, you know when it changes. My first instinct after reading the title was to reply with "that's what she said".
