  1. MH and H St croix's will suit you just fine for frog fishing. I have used Rage H, and currently LTB, H, for frogging. They are light sticks that have one heck of a back bone, which for me is ideal for frog fishing.
  2. I usually tie on 10lb-15lb yozuri leaders, on 30lb PP braid using an alberto knot.
  3. For that deal load up.
  4. Many people on here have a lot of success with straight braid using multiple applications. I use straight braid sometimes and leaders sometimes as well. I found a knot that works great for me, and I have had a lot of success with leaders. I feel that a leader may be advantageous in certain situations where straight braid me spook them. Some will disagree, but i believe and have seen it.
  5. Not a hard decision once you get a little bit more experience under your belt. IMO, you should go with braid. Less fuss, it will last you a long while and if you need the cushion or advantage of mono, just attach a leader and your set.
  6. This pretty bass kept me busy this evening. She was perched on a ledge, and I was fortunate to keep her buttoned after 2 failed attempts. I was using a t-rigged u-vibe and I caught her in my neighborhood canal. She went for 5lbs 13oz.
  7. Nice fish! Your stay here in FL this year was definitely a memorable one.
  8. Wow! that's an unbelievable story. What are the odd's that the fish although blind returned to your area.
  9. That's pretty funny. You should be paying attention. To answer question, Lew as a great line up. I personally enjoy very much the MG pro and TT pro.

  11. Unbelievably beautiful!! http://awareness-time.com/?p=2258
  12. I love those fish counters. That's what I use out there. You talk to people and they think you are grossly exaggerating the numbers. Like a fisherman wouldn't exaggerate ..... lol
  13. If your looking for someone in the South Broward area around Dania, his name is George from Van's Marine. He does great work and has svc my boats for the last 15 yrs.

  15. My deepest condolences, may she rest in peace.
  16. Rotator cuff injuries do not present themselves in the middle of the back. They present in the front top or rear of shoulder, where these muscles attach. The pain/or discomfort the op is mentioning sounds like muscle fatigue of the muscles of the mid back.
  17. Premiere's are good rods. It will serve you well. They are tad heavier than avid's
  18. Go look up Blackburn exercises on google. Those exercises will address the issue you are having. You can do them in the comfort of your home and they really help. A few of my clients have found relief incorporating these exercises a few times a week.
  19. March quota....... check! Beautiful fish.
  20. You guys are on a roll up there with some serious pigs. WTG!!
  21. Very, very likely. People confuse the two all the time. There are mudfish galore in the glades. Big ones...
  22. Heck, NatGeo or Animal Planet showed a sweet bass inhaling a baby gator once. If the bass is big enough, and it thinks it's prey will fit in it's mouth, it's going for it.
  23. LOL.... the reel has served me well, and it has caught me hundred's of nice bass over the last few seasons, but I saw and palmed the new Curado and I just had to have to it as my frog reel.
