My trolling motor battery is in a battery box with a battery condition indicator on the top of it. It wasn't holding a charge this year so I figured the battery was bad and dind't look into it any further untill yesterday when I went to pull the battery out of the box. I discovered the battery cable that goes from the box top to the battery was corroded so bad the connecter to the battery was completly disconnected. I'm gussing this was the cause it woudn't hold a charge! LOL I'm going to replace to connector on the cable today and see if it will fix the problem. My question is what should I put over the connectors and cable to protect them from this happening again? I was told to put some grease on it would that work? Thanks, Jon

Well I just contacted Bassin and they said they have no record of me being in their system. I did go onto PayPal and download my history from the last year and I think I narrowed down the name of who the money went to. I'll be contacting PayPal when I get home from work and hopefully get my $ back. I know it wasn't much but I work for that and I'm not giving it away. Once I make sure I have the right name anyone wanting the name as well PM me and I'll send it to you.

I never did recieve the mag. I forgot all about it untill I bought a copy of Crappie world the other day. I guess since I used paypal I'll have to contact them and file a complaint.

I'd like to take a trip to Table Rock Lake this spring/summer. I'm wondering if any of you have booked a guided trip on TRL and if so how was the experiance? For that matter is that matter do any of you guide on TRL? Thanks, Jon

I took the boys out this morning to a local water hole. We took the boat out and didn't have alot of luck. They didn't catch anything but had fun throwing spinners all morning and they had a blast just being in the boat. I hooked up with 2 dinks, a pound each AT BEST! But I had a Mann's shallowing diving crank bait on my bait caster and was casting into the trees and had the lure ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED!!!! I have never had a lure hit this hard in my life. It locked up my baitcaster, I "tried" to sweep the rod back to set the hook but the rod wouldn't move!!! I kept pressure on abd finally had the fish come up to the surface, turned on it's side and spit the lure. This thing looked like a Great White. I honestly don't think I've ever seen a fish this big before. It was an amazing experiance, even if I didn't catch it. The boy's were in shock watching me trying to get this fish to move and not budge. I sat there for a half hour throwing every thing in my box down every casting lane possible and nothing! All in all it was on of the best day's on the lake I've had with my boy's. I'll be back for that HAWG!!!!! Oh yes....I'll be back! ;D

I did go to the hospital, right after it happened. In an ambulance! FUN FUN FUN! It happened Sat, it's now Tuesday, AND I"M SORE AS HELL!!!!!!!!! I found out yesterday she is 85 and had NO License. The insurance company called and wanted me to meet them today at the shop to cut me a check on the spot.....yeah right! We'll see what happens.

I'm going to go and get pic's of the bike tomorrow, I'll post them as well.

I was wearing a half helmet. And let me tell you what! I did hit the ground with my head but it felt like I was wearing a sponge on my head! It sucked up all the impact, and I didn't even get a head-ache! It did it's job well. You should see the left lense of my sunglasses!

Man I needed that today! Thanks for the laugh!

Yesterday I was involved in a motorcycle accident. As I approached an intesection ( I had the green light) a car driven by an elderly woman was in the turn lane on the opposite side of the intersection. I slowed down to 5 mph under the posted speed limit as I approached and just as I go on top of the pressure plate for the light's she pulled out in front of me cutting me off. I hit both brakes, locked them up and dumped the bike. As I was doing my best rolly polly impression on the ground my bike hit the rear of her car as it was sliding across the road. I've got road rash on the left side of my face, on both of my forarms and my left knee and hip. No broken bones but my bike was banged up pretty good. I haven't seen the bike but my riding buddy went and took a look at it. My windshield is broke the engine guard with my highway pegs on it are all jacked up, my pipes are bent to hell and my left mirror and turn signals are broke. No word yet on if the forks are bent. All in all about $2500 worth of damage to the bike so far. Here's my beautiful face as of this morning!

I have a similar product on the hull of my boat. I'm planning on re-coating what was done and coat the inside ribs and arround the drain as well. I found a gallon of it at wal-mart for around $42, spray can's for as low as $3. I like it on on the underside of the boat, I'm plannin on putting in a front and rear deck and platform the middle of the boat so none of it will be visable with the decks in. Jon
