Well do you have a choke on it? If so that will affect the type of shot you can put through it. I found that just picking up several boxes of shells and some of thoes paper turkey targets and going to the range and shoot several of each at different targets to check the pattern works best for me. I'd rather see for my self first hand what the pattern is going to look like at different distances than taking someones word for it. I'd hate to miss a nice bird because my pattern wasn't as tight as I thought it was. Know what I mean?

Ninerman and I loaded up his boat this morning and headed out to Truman. Man thoes fish were biting Jigs, I should know I threw everthing in the box at them and didn't catch a single fish! The only thing I didn't throw was a jig! LOL We talked to one guy at the dock and he had 2 keepers on jigs, didn't get any other bites either. Just a rough day I guess. I did have one bite, worked a worm down a ledge and thought I got snagged on a rock, once I realised what the weight I was pulling on was I tried to set the hook, the fish surfaced and jumped spitting the worm, we watched it come right out of his mouth! Just my luck! Skunked again. 2007 has been totally unproductive!

I'm looking to use the livewell for tournaments. So I'd like to set it up so the water is recirculating and stuff. That would be the only time I use it. I know I'll have to have a battery for it and that's not a problbem because my boat is an electric boat anyway. I don't have a problem running a second battery for just the livewell. Does anyone know of a site that has a "HOW TO" secton on building a livewell?

So I want to put a live well in my little 14ft boat. I'm going to go with the cooler for a livewell. Now that I have the water holder, what else do I need and how does it all go together? And yes it is possible to be this dumb on the subject....I'm living proof! ;D

I have a few question's about Braid. I use my spinning reels when I pitch and flip. I'm toying with putting braid on one of them. First question, is it ok to put braid on a spinning reel? Second, if so should I leave mono at the base of the spool like on a bait caster? Ok, I've shown my lack of knowledge enough for now! Thanks in advance, Jon

I'm going to start re-modding my 14ft V hull here shortly, and I had a question about putting in the livewell. I know most everyone uses a large Igloo cooler, why the cooler? From what I've priced they are about $50. Why couldn't you use say a 18 gallon rubber made storage bin? Is it that the sides aren't as stiff as the cooler or is it the fact the cooler is insulated? If so does it have to be insulated? Wouldn't the pump rotating the water keep the water temp even and ok for the lunkers in there? Thanks in advance. Jon

I love my tiny torpedoes. I use them in Chrome and the Frog pattern. They are absolutely killer when the top water bite is on. I've never taken it out of the box and not brought a fish in on it!!!

Shoulda' kept them on to begin with! LOL

Well I'm 35, my first time with this probelm was 3 years ago almost to the month, so my math put's me at 32 at the onset! At this rate I'll need a power wheel in the next 10 years. You don't suppose it has much to do with the fact that I normally have dogs weighing up to an access of 100 lbs running me over and using me as a chew toy on a daily do you? ;D

I'm fishing an event with them this weekend at the Drake Harbor Access (Warsaw). Launch is 9am weigh in is at 1pm.

I'm told they work more as a cover scent than and actual attractant. Now maybe the craw sent would work a little better than the GARLIC. I'm pretty sure bass don't use garlic as a menu item. LOL

I can fish in wind when it's warm. I can fish in rain when it's warm. I HATE being cold! End of story! You'll find me by the lit fire place getting a drink from the bar right next to my 56 inch TV! You'll never catch me ice fishing.....I don't think anyway!
