Yes thats my little fishing buddy molly. She is a jack russell..She loves to fish..I have a 16 month old son now though that is wanting to take her place. The weather around here can be miserable one day and warm the next..We are going to have 4 days straight of around 60 temps..Gonna try to get them again..We went yesterday afternoon and caught another 5 10oz fish..will post pictures later

The last month has been pretty productive for us on Lake nunya..We had one day were me and Jason and Craig , friends of mine caught 30 in 2hours at one point..They were schooling looking like the water was boiling..We have had much success on rattletraps yo-yoed and dropped or fluttered and getting wacked on the drop..One of the pictures I am going to put up is of Jason catching two fish on a shad rap, one around 3lbs the other 5lbs..The other fish is of craigs six lber caught with a rattletrap in 8 foot of water and 3 1/2 lber I caught on rattletrap..Jason caught 8.5 on Jig two weeks ago that I have on camera phone and I caught my first fish on a jig that weighted 5.4..this is really the first time I have fished this deep into the year and it has been fun here is first fish

12.4..caught on a double bladed persuader 1oz in white color on Aug 6, 2005 at 6.45 pm in the afternoon..Caught it the same week my son was born..it out weighed Russell by 3 lbs..It was caught in 2 and half feet of water..Caught on 20lb berkley trilene which I dont use anymore a bass pro shop extreme 7 ft rod medhy and a abu garcia baitcaster..There is nothing like the water being sucked up by a big bucket mouth

He got it from Bass pro shop..That is the one I have also.. Funny story I live on a big lake that has million dollar homes and I live in one of the homes that is halfmillion..anyways not bragging just part of the story..I threw a $5 bandit flat max crank bait by one of the houses in the that has a few submerged stumps..It gets hung and no problem I will use my 10 lure retriever to get it..I get the lure however the line breaks and my lure retriever is lost in about 5 feet of water..It is summer so I decide to get out,im not catching any fish anyways so I decide to become Jaq Costeau..Any how I am wading in the water by this guys house..my dog is barking and the guy that owns the house comes asked to see what is going on..Well I am quite embarrassed needless to say to I instead of telling him how cheap I am that I am looking for the head of the 10 dollar lure retriever I tell him I lost my rolex in the water and I am trying to find it..He decides he wants to come in and we are looking and he finds the head of my retriever..Lol..We never find the rolex..I felt bad about the white lie but me, my wife, and my mom laught about the missing rolex all the time.

Well..I through a buzzbait anytime of the year any conditions any time of day..so hence the name..Picture is just one of about 30 six pounders I caught this year in lake nunya

Man what a post...anyhows if you guys think animals dont feel pain you are fooling yourself..I understand in the testosterone world of hunting and fishing we want to think that to make ourselves feel better when we shoot a deer with a nice broadhead or kill a dove and ring its neck if it is not dead but they do..This post opens up alot of wounds because I for one dont hunt anymore because if i want meat I will go to the store..That is my right and if someone wants to kill a deer fish or whatever it is there right..My buddy craig caught a beaver the other nite..do you think it felt pain..sure it did..It is a part of the human dominants that we feel that we are the only one that feels..come on..The bottom line however is we all will keep fishing for the rush or feeling we receive when we get that 10lber on the line..I hate hurting or killing the fish but I love to fish..If craig would have tried to pull those hooks out of that beaver it would have hurt him and he would have hurt craig..

Nice fish..and me three..I agree with my buddy..it is his peragative to keep or not..Ask Craig I shake to get even the smallest fish back in the lake but it is his decision...Only thing I can say is when you are not catching bigguns anymore it might be because there are none left..What color water was the lake what did you catch it on and how hot was it..This should give people motivation to get back on the water..Only way to catch big fish is to fish..

I have not read every post so Im gonna respond to what I think..I apologize if this has already been said..I fished a few Jon Boat tournaments this year with most guys using a cooler for a livewell..I had installed my aerator incorrectly and it caused three of my fish at weigh to be already dead..I dont work for PETA but I dont like killing the fish just for the sake of a tournament so I fixed my problem..To me in a perfect world in the big tournaments with all the technology we have maybe there could be a way to have like a computer digital scale that immediately would weigh the fish and It would be sent to a headquarter computer to register..I know this seems James Bondish, but why do you have to keep the fish all day. Or in big tourneys you could log the fish in a computer with someone who is neutral and record the fish..In this day and age of technology it would seem quite simple.. But if all those fish died because of the tourney we should be ashamed..But what else is new..

Another one of those juiced up bass in Cali..Seems juicing is running rampant in Cali..Barry Bonds and all those trout for the fish..lol..Maybe one day we will start dumping trout in my georgia waters.. ;D

Man this post is funny..I was gonna post the same thing to ask if in the back of the boat, how much of a disadvantage the angler has had... I have gone out three straight times with a buddy of mine and he has caught a average of 9 fish each time and I have caught an average of 1.. I go by myself in my boat and I catch 8 to 10 in the same lake..He fished rattletraps, flukes, buzzbaits, and now sammys and I fish buzzbaits,rattetraps,crankbaits,and topwater frogs..I have exactly no confidence in plastics anymore..Thanks for your comments here..

Guys lets face it...They have havilacek on the show, nugent on the show, zona on the show ,one of the editors of bassmasters magazine on the show, there having a defensive lineman on the show,..the theme here is showbiz and name recognize people..Have you ever seen on his show someone who wasnt somewhat of an celebrity..I am an insurance salesman who probably could BEAT CHARLIE MOORE..but I am not a name that people recognizes..Its about the bottom line..I would love to see this happen but you have to have some sense of reality and business sense..shows are paid by who wants to advertise and where they think the best spots will be..Good luck but dont get to frustrated..Thank god you can still go fishing.. ;D

I Posted a while back about my lake being drained 4 ft to put in gas line..Heaven behold they started today and I fished about 4 hours with 2 fish..My question is what kind of impact does letting water down have on bass and how should i target them or just forget about the lake going down and start casting..Any comments would be appreciated
