  1. I know Neko means cat in Japanese. Found this through Google: Haruhiko Murakami, a legendary lure designer in Japan originally developed and advanced this technique throughout the Japanese bass industry by adding tungsten nail sinkers to the heads of soft plastic finesse worms. Murakami coined the rig’s name from the phrase “Neko-sogi” which literally means “the rig that catches all the fish like a vacuum cleaner.”
  2. Everybody pronounces Neko Rig wrong. It's not NEE-ko. It's not NECK-o. It is NAY-ko. (ねこ)
  3. Ended up staying at Lakeshore Lodge. Boat cover we ordered from BPS a month prior still isn't here ?, but nobody messed with the uncovered boat. Decided to just bring the batteries into the room to charge them. Could only get one out, but had no problems. Most of my fishing has been on a river for smallmouth. Actually never thrown a texas rig and have caught very few bass on jigs. Didn't get anything real big, but got a little over 13 pounds the first day. Wind was 15-20 mph after noon. Planning on heading back down in a few weeks, better prepared. Thanks again, guys.
  4. My dad has a new Pro 170. He stuck a battery in the compartment right in front of the other batteries and drilled a hole through. ?
  5. Is it Osprey Point? Their website looks like just RV spaces, but I emailed them. Thanks for the reply.
  6. All this talk of GoPros in lakes reminded me of this. ?
  7. My dad wants to go to Tenmile Lake(Oregon) for a couple days. I'm looking for recommendations on where to stay with a boat. We need to be able to charge the battery every evening. Security is also a concern. Don't want to wake up with problems or a missing boat. ? Thanks!

  9. Not a solution to your problem, but the 2018 Tracker Pro 170s have VersaTrack.
  10. I just ordered two Garmin echoMAP CHIRP 73sv units for $509 each. Not sure if we're aloud to post links here. If anybody is interested, send me a message.
  11. I'll be near Clear Lake in a few weeks and would love to spend a day fishing. Does anybody have any experience renting a bass boat there? Are the boats decent? Can you get them early in the morning? With limited time and horsepower, is there good fishing near where you pick the boat up? Thanks.
