Can you sew some mesh soft or hard onto the hold area? That way there is still air flow but keeps critters out.

Not trying to be the devils advocate here, but how big was the flag and are you sure they seen it? People loose hundreds of those college or pro team flags off vehicles and they get hammered pretty quick. Maybe they thought it was one of those? I try to avoid them, but if it says Kstate or anything from Texas, it's roadkill baby

I got a few of them, but different colors, from eBay last year. They were mega bass knock offs. After I took the split rings off, changed the hooks and added a feathered read hook, they worked pretty good. I still prefer Rebels and the SK's spit shads, but they do work

I bought a package last year as they were on sale for 88 cents. I put them on a swim jig but found that I had to really work the rod to death to get them to come alive. They worked really good, caught a mess of Hybrid Bass but wore myself out doing it

I have never tried it as my thoughts on it are a fish can shake or break loose a treble hook much eaiser than a heavy duty single hook. Especially one that swivels 180 degrees

I have only two that have worked very well. Berkely havoc subwoofers and Rage Tail Menace grubs. The menace grubs last about 10-12 good size fish. The Subwoofers last alot longer for me. Of course I have had subwoofers get their tail bit off on the first little dink too. I really like the Subwoofers price. 2.99 an 8 pack and they have colors that match all 4 of my favorite North Star Flip n Swims. They are also on sale all the time for 1.99

In my best Michael Buffer voice "Letsssssss Get Ready to Rumbllllllllllllle" Shimano here. I have tried 3 other brands and ended up being plagued with problems. So far, Shimano has held up and treated me pretty good

Last year I had been using North Star jigs. Black blue pro series. They came with rattles and my catch rate was pretty decent. I had placed another order for jigs and went on fishing them catch rate stayed the same. Fast forward 6 months. Was browsing the board and noticed a thread asking when did North Star remove the rattles. I checked my jigs and sure enough they didn't have em. After that, I kinda never put much more thought and faith in the rattles. Most of the water I fish around here is pretty dirty too. I'm not saying they don't have their place in the jig market, but for me and my experience they did really make a difference. Think of it this way, it can't hurt to put one on.

I've got an idear for 2 rods on either side of the seat flush with the kayak. But ya, that might work too. Falling out worried me too lol

Thanks for the input! I'm sure standing will come in time. I am thinking I will want to make a secure rod rack before I stand though. I have a decent amount wrapped up in rods reels etc.

Try taking a couple drops of oil and putting it on the bearing. Thats in the side plate See if that quiets it down. Also clean the break race with some alcohol and try a very very fine film of lol on it It will quiet it down quite a bit. Your distance may be shorter by a few yards, but should quiet down. This was my biggest issue with the new Revo line. Kinda why I dumped them all

Will do. I want to make a killer video review on it. I'm the exact opposite. I can't afford a boat right now nor do I have a place to store it. We only have a 2 car garage and storage fees are like 150-220 a month for indoor. This I can store in my garage above my truck. I want to get on the water now lol so this may be the ticket. After my wedding next year, a bait may be in the works, but for now this is it.
