Try not to fish if really hard****

^^^x2^^^^... once u find them through some jigs out there I do well with black and blue.. green pumpkin with purple flake.. be quite at all time the pond bass get spooked and in my experience with shut some bass down from eating.. and try to fish the pond really hard.. I like to give it a break and go.to different ones. Then go back.. but if its big enough you can fish different spots and you should be fine

Yeah I like em... green pumpkin with purple flake.. pic your trailer to match the skirt color.. I like 3/8 oz with the rattles. Workem just like a normal jig. I've caught some big bass on them.. they work fine

I use 6'6 medium heavy 12 pound fluro.. spinning reel

I use 65 pound braid just BC the place I go froging is lily pad heaven... the resivoir is engulfed all summer and I've lost fish using 40 pound.. I got a few fish over 7 and I'll.tell you what If.I didn't have high braid on I would of lost the fish , my 12 dollar frog "live target" and about 15 dollars worth of line.. that would have gotten me a little ticked..

I get salt water buck tails.. then retie and paint what I want.. some times. I like the buck tail big white jig with red head.. I swim it everywhere in the Fall and I have done pretty well

I do what wrb said crimp the shot and pull the line off cut off frayed line and re tie.. hasn't failed me yet.. BTW I'm on the 4 th time reading that book.. its awesome learn so much every read through.. I hope all that stuff will become second nature someday!!
