  7. Read all the articles on here for a start and don't be scared to try to new stuff.. find cover and beat the shore line with top water early in the am buzz baits spinners whatever. then once that bite turns off on shore , I look a lil deeper and throw the spinners or a rat-L trap to find some fish. But if your not finding fish you got to slow-er down. keep it simple.
  8. and I only stich at a few places where I've found big bass and now when and where to throw. other than that I don't waste my time..
  9. I read the book 4 times this winter.. caught me some nice healthy bass in the 7 pound range stitching a jig on the bottom and a 12inch worm. it works the books talks about find the biggest bass some times those fat mommas want a slowly pulled worm on the bottom that takes 3 minutes to pass her.
  10. play around with it. I like rat-L traps over grass, wide wobble when the water is on the rise.. after that I just find out what they want...burn a rat-l trap over grass or rip thru and pop it out of the grass..i like running my square bill around timber bouncing it off everything.. or just ripping cranks making all kind of ruckus.. Ive caught 30 + fish in a day on cranks out in the open running 5-8ft..
