  1. I fished wed-fri because of the over crowding
  2. Went to TN to fish on the Chicamauga Lake with some buddies of mine that live over there. We caught over 70 bass in 3 different trips. Some were caught on topwater (Whopper Plopper), spinner bait and a lot were caught on plastic worms. My buddy got his PB (8.39lb LM) on a ribbontail worm at 11pm one night. 1 day it was 98 degrees when we started fishing and the next day never got higher than 85 degrees and was cloudy. A lot of fun!
  3. Welcome! Pond fishing can be a lot of fun
  4. Welcome! Always interested to hear about kayak anglers and how they fish
  5. Congrats on the new PB! Good looking fish.
  6. I had off work today and decided to hit lake first thing. It was 80 degrees and steamy at 6am. Lost one on my 3rd cast using a crankbait when she jumped and spit it back at me. Only had a couple other little nibbles throughout the morning. Made one last cast before my family met me at the ramp and caught a decent one on a shaky head and trick worm. Water temp was 87 degrees, air temp was 94 degrees with mostly sunny skies and 13mph winds. Had a good time driving around the lake afterwards with the family.
  7. Welcome! Never fished WB but used to fish the Chic a lot
  8. Night fishing is my favorite, especially during the summer. Not as hot and not that many people on the lake
  9. I like to slow roll a Colorado blade, big blue and black jig or big worm
  10. I am lucky and fish with a buddy of mine that offers to let me up front sometimes, he tells me what he's leaving me to cast to, etc. In turn, if I see that he's throwing a crankbait or something fast moving, I throw something similar because we're covering water and I don't want to slow it down with a shakey head or something like that. I do the same whenever I'm in my boat and have a backseater. I have had some guys that don't give a rat's pitoot about the backseater.
  11. Outstanding! Congrats to the lil girl
  12. Sweet! Congrats
  13. Welcome to the forums! Your PB is better than mine and I fish in the South ?
  14. I've had an inactive account since 2012, so I know what you mean. Cool boat you got there!
