4.1) Fluoro can be a bear to manage, much easier if your only dealing with a few feet as opposed to 150yds.

Whats Your Most Successful Crankbait, Color & Size
Spro Little John in the Cell Mate color has been great for me this year pulling several fish almost every time out. It hasn't brought in a huge one yet, but I'm sure given time it will.

Whats Your Hottest Lure?
I'm with everyone else who said frog. Black and red Booyah Padcrasher has really been producing well for me. I've made a point to try more techniques this year, but the frog continues to be the ticket.

Siebert Outdoors Product Help??
The bluegill skirt was working well....until I snagged on a deep rock and couldn't get free. The color flat out works though, it puts them in the boat! I like the swim jigs in our neck of the woods. I got a bunch of brush heads too and found I prefer the swim jigs. I wish I had gone with all wire ties, you can add a rubber one with the rattles for cheap. Just pick up those parts yourself and get the wire tied goodness. I don't have any experience with his punching rig, but they look great, probably get some with my next order. Hope I helped!

What Is Your Preferred Gear When Fishing Smallies?
Baitcast is my preferance for just about everything, but I don't think the fish your after should determine your choice of reel. I would look at the type of tackle you'll be using and line. If you are using real light presentations, spinning would be my choice. Heavier I prefer baitcasting. If your bank fishing, take a look at what kind of room you have around yourself to cast as well. If your in cramped quarters, you can usually throw spinning gear a little better.

Any Luck With Swim Jigs
Out of those listed I've had good luck with small jigs with a straight tail or shakey head worm as a trailer. I think it resembles a goby. I'd make sure to have some tubes with, its nice to have a proven performer with you if all else fails.

Jig Trailers
I've been using a shakey worm on the bitsy bug jigs for river smallies and it's really produced well. It also comes through cover very easily.

Should I Go Back To Spinning Gear?
As others have said, they are all just tools. If I feel confident using a jig saw, I don't need to break out the circular. They can both get the job done in different ways. Whatever feels best in your hands for the job at hand.

How Many Rods Do You Use.
5 or 6 usually end up being used. I try to cut back on what I take out with me, but then I'll have a moment of "What if they only want to bite on heavy carolina rigs? Or extra light drop shot?" I've got setups for these techniques that need in the boat!

Favorite Lures Or Bait
Jig with craw trailer, and I'll be a oddball and say frog. There are times in open water I've seen a splash and thrown to it and gotten a hook up on the frog, and you can throw it anywhere.

Okuma Calera Or Lews Laser Mg..
I palm my reels so to me the aluminum frame is a must. I had two graphite/plastic baitcasters and with light use from the girlfriend (she doesn't palm the reel) they have held up for quite awhile longer than they would in my hands.

Wisconsin Froggin' And Punchin' & More
It was a rough weekend in Wisconsin. Spent about 5 hours on the water Sunday battling the jet ski's and pontoons. Managed 2 bass with the largest being 18". The girlfriend caught a crappie and a gnarly 30"+ 6.25lb bowfin. That was our excitement for the day. Hopefully next time your up the weather behaves. I'll see if I can get a pic up after work. It almost took my jaw-grips when it did the crocodile deathroll coming out of the net. I need a gopro like you guys to get vids of this stuff.
