  2. Hello all I'm looking to join a club in the polk barron county area if you know of any give me a holla! Thanks!
  3. Check the compression etc I've bought older boats also take the lower end of the motor and lift up to see if there's Cracks in transom good luck!
  4. Installation: have to pull the motor off transom along with cable wires etc your motor will require a dual steer cable 400 to 600.00 plus labor for installation try the "witches" brew above mentioned first maybe you'll get lucky heat will help but be careful!
  5. Had a pair of costas hammerheads was bending over to land a bass and what happens when you don't wear a lanyard with em? Well that toasted that tournament! Got a pair of Maui Jims now found em on a table at a bar when I was out on a bike ride 239.00!!!! Man that was a nice ride.
  6. For that kind of money if you live near missouri you can get a heck of a deal on a bass boat used one that is I got a real nice skeeter a few years ago for 2000.00 my friends couldn't believe it the motor a 175 black max had 130 lbs compression
  7. Don't forget a leakdown test too I had a 70 horse johnson mechanic did leakdown test on it it failed.5 years later after I sold it the buyer was still running it!
  8. If its stiff chances are the previous owner didn't grease it much! You can try spraying where the rod comes out in front of motor with a penetrating oil pb blaster etc let it sit for a while and slowly work the wheel back and forth worst case scenario a new cables or cables could get spendy good luck
  9. I agree a trickle charger will work for single battery apps but 24 36 need more amps especially for overnite tourneys when you want a faster charge. Junebugmn

Hello all fishings around the corner up here so I'm looking for a "new" boat one is a starline aggressor bass boat must be at least 17 ft its got a 150 black max and tm owner says it needs "minor" tlc I do a lot or most of my own maintanance its got a good transom etc. The next is a 1994 bps pro team 16 ft tracker with a 25 merc it looks really clean and for the size of waters I fish it would be ok I had a 16.5 ft landau what do you think or have you known any one who had a aggressor bass boat I'm leaning that way he will take 1800.0 for it thanks.

  21. The biggest difference is the way the minnkota prop is designed to delflect weeds away from the blades all the "ninja" blades design is its biggest fault! Too many blades 3 cuases it to plug up too easily. Junebugman
  22. yes find a place that sells minnkota props and size em up some marine dealers have used props too!! the diameter has to be the same though!
