  2. Junebugman posted a topic in Bass Clubs
Hi all I have been wanting to hook up with some clubs in polk county wisc so I can meet more people and find guys to go bass fishing with well a person of whom I have known for several years won't give me the info to join this irritates the heck out of me is this greed ignorance or maybe he just does'nt want me in it? I would'nt do this to anyone, by the way I have my own bass boat. Junebugman
  3. I appreciate all these comments but all these conservation minded meat hogs are area business men who do this a lot of the area tournament anglers are very upset! Fish some of these lakes you will see the difference in the numbers and quality of fish. To agree with this practice in my opinion you are in the same boat as these meat hogs just like the hillbillys around here with thier chainlink stringers eith four lbers on them half or most could'nt spell ethic's.

  10. My buddy has a trion he likes it but I don't think he has spent 40.00 on anything his whole life! Lol
  11. I do like it was yesterday! It was a gray and red "holiday" brand reel paired with a Garcia Conolon fiberglass rod with the steel guides lost a "pig" on it in the vadnais lake overflow in a area you weren't "supposed" to fish near st paul mn but we did cuz we saw the size of the bass in there well they must have made the gears for those out of melted tin cans! it froze up fighting one of those bass! I lost my Creme worm 20 ft of line and a lot of patience that day long ago what was your first reel. Thanks Junebugman

  19. Hi does anyone else watch this show on espn I like the idea of weighing the fish and releasing it on the spot hypothetically speaking if these fish were on thier nests and it was spawn would this practice help or hurt the fish population? And also does anyone one here use this type of format in thier club? I was in a "inches" tourney once and liked it especially the guy with 5 bass that totalled 104 inches!!!!!!!! Holy Zoom U-Tail!!!!!!
  20. Hi does anyone know of any War Eagle dealer distributors in the minnesota mple st paul area thanks!
  21. Was just wondering if any of you have any of these keep and grease or eat clubs in your area! I have personally fished 3 lakes they had tourneys on previously and the lakes both size of bass and quality of them they keep went way down one lake I know of they took 300 bass out one summer! It took 5 years to get decent again I believe in keeping a couple male sized bass but big females 3 to 5 lbs let em go back I stand vigorously opposed to this irresponsible and inane practice these clubs should be banned from all lakes and members I'd by b.a.s.s and other organizations! As Gomer Pyle once said " for shame for shame for shame" Junebugman
  22. Check for leaks water that is!
