😁 Hi all, I've been drop shotting since it got popular! Aaron Martens got me Hooked 😆 I have 2 rigs I use #1 a Dobyns Fury series "702" spinning rod with 6lb Stren blue mono, I haven't gotten into the flouro craze yet, #2 is my recently purchased Diawa Zillion 7ft 3" regular power spinning rod with a size 2000 Regal 6.2. To 1 reel, same line, I had this rod out yesterday, my Dobyns might sit for a while! This is a nice rod, it has a longer handle and very sensitive. I use gamakatsu split shot, drop shot hooks #2. I'll use Berkeley Flatworms, Strike King clamshell, Robo worms, and a new drop shot bait by Great Lakes company thier 3.5" Goby colored minnow. Sorry for my long winded post! Your favorite?

Jedi, the ones I've seen are between 189.00 and 219.00 online, when I got my Zillion today, the Elites were 189.00 but no Med lites, salesman said drop shotting is very popular! I got my Zillion for 199.00 clearance from 329.00

Hi all I got this on "clearance" at Thorne Brothers in Blaine MN regular 329.00 I got it for 199.00 I'm going to match it with my new Regal Lt high speed reel! Should be great for drop shot, split shot etc for bass. They just sold the drop shot model.

Hi, this yak is verrry stable but is somewhat slower than my old yak a vibe sea ghost which was way tippier at 33 inches we'll see how it goes.

Id get the 30 size prez, get a 6ft 10in med extra to fast action and you have everything from sm cranks to worms to whatever, 8lb should work good on that reel.
