Tied up again. I'm highly upset right now.

I've done pretty well this fall on shallow to medium diving cranks with natural colors imitating minnow or shad. No lunkers, but a lot of decent fish.

Cardinals defense is normally great. I don't think we'll see any more games as sloppy as that one. Wainwright didn't look like himself from the beginning either, and I think he let the errors effect him mentally too. They'll bounce back, and play a lot better than they did in game one. Hats off to the Red sox though, they played a great game.

That is a good option. I've gotten some good stuff there. I don't even know where to begin when it comes to what kind of casting reel I should get though.

Thanks for the replies. Money is indeed an issue. I have other non-fishing things I need to start saving for soon. Plus I will need a rod to pair with my first casting reel. So $100 or less is definitely what I had in mind.

Some time between now and next spring I'm probably going to buy my first baitcasting reel. Do you think this would be a good choice for a beginner?

I wish. I have a few fishin buddies, and we have a good time. But the only one who gets into bass fishing as much as I do lives a couple hours away unfortunately.

1. Release it. 2. If legal, definitely eat it. If not legal, well it's a tough call for me honestly. I'd rather eat it than leave it to die in the water. But I'd still probably play it safe and abide by the law.

I went to a night game in Arrowhead in 2003 in which the Chiefs beat the Raiders with a last second field goal. As far as going to just about the most exciting sporting event imaginable goes, that one's crossed of my bucket list. I hope you get to go someday. I highly recommend it. I went again a couple years ago and the Chiefs beat either the Panthers or Jags, can't remember. That game was at noon, and it wasn't nearly as exciting as a Chiefs vs Raiders game. But Arrowhead is always quite an experience.

Do you have one website that you buy all, or almost all of your tackle from? Or several different ones? Or do you have one for soft plastics, and another you prefer for crankbaits or jigs, etc? Edi: This doesn't necessarily have to be websites. It could be the mom n pop tackle shop down the road, or wherever.

Yeah, the Mojo Bass is one I was looking at. I just got the Patriarch right before I started this topic, so I haven't gotten to use it yet. But I like the feel of it.
