I have a BPS Extreme 7'6" rod Heavy action with Fast tip...what are the best applications for this? I have a 7.1.1 with 50 lb Power Pro on it but have other reels I could swap out. Pitching? Flipping? Hollow body frogs? Umbrella rig? Looking for any suggestions please

How do you like these and how do you fish them regarding hook, weight, etc.? Supposedly the creature one on the left floats?

I have done many rod and reel trade ins over the years there on another rod or reel...but I assume that on a combo package such as the PQ with rod for $99 I can not get more discount due to trade in?

I always DO receive points for purchases made with gift cards...I go almost weekly and am sure of that...also, I am a fan of the BPS MasterCard Credit card as you really can add the points up fast if you charge meals, gas, cable bill, cell phone bill, etc...I seem to end up with about $50 in points every 2 or 3 months...

what type worm do you get the most use out of (fore example - 5 inch senko, ole monster, Berkley 7 inch worm, trick worm, etc) ...one that you are able to use in more conditions than others...for example, you can use it in different types of water, different times of year, different structure, etc

If you could only have one type worm (senko/ ole monster / powerbait / trick stick) what would it be and why? I want to know which type I would get the most use out of in many times of year and various conditions.

I mainly throw lighter crank baits in the 1.5 to 2.5 range and am interested in getting a cranking rod...probably will get the BPS Crankin' Stick on the spring classic since i have points / gift cards / and can do a rod trade in...how do you all decide on getting a M or MH? I will get a 7 footer most likely.

I ordered a pack of 5/0 hooks and when I got them home I realized how thick the wire is and therefore they are pretty heavy…when should I use this hook? It does not have a notch sticking out of it for holding a jig…it is the Bass Pro XPS Magna Superlock worm hook. I also need a recommendation for a good hook when punching thick grass with Biffle Bug type baits.

How much backing (if any) do you all use before tying on the braid?

I have a variety of rigs finally and now have a dedicated worm set up on a Carbonlite 7 MH with Pro Qualifier. I prefer braided line for this rig and will use it for senkos, ribbon tails, and trick worms. What pound line do you suggest??

I have a good assortment of special rod / reel set ups for various applications and have an extra 7.1 not being used as well as a 7M Vendetta (feels pretty much like a MH though as you well know)...would this make a good combination to use on flukes and spooks due to the quick taking up of line on the 7.1? What line would you suggest if so?

Just got 2 packs of 50 sticko's...Junebug and green pumpkin...and some baby brush hogs...and got them to put free line on all four pro qualifiers that i bought last week!

I traded in an old Zebco 33 combo ROD….I got 4 Pro Qualifiers…two in 6.4.1 and two in 7.1.1, a new model carbonlite rod in 7MH and a 6'6 MH Lightning rod for spooks, pop'rs, etc…maybe should have gotten it in a Medium for more bait working action…Today I crappie fished all day so now I want to go back and get some crappie rods! Too crowded tomorrow…I'll go Monday on my lunch break.

Is the Carbonlite pretty much the best sensitive rod under $110 that you can get at Bass Pro? I need a dedicated worm rod and want sensitivity and strength...looking at 7 MH with fast tip. I have gift cards and will get a rod in the Spring Classic, especially with the rod trade in and discounts.

I was in my BPS tonight and they are already marked down to around $70. Many of the more popular sizes have barely any left though such as 7 foot medium heavy. And they were mostly the micro guide ones. Slim pickings.

Please don't suggest cabelas since I have lots of gift cards at bps and Academy. What is the difference in the 100 mph and pro qualifier rain bibs at bps? And how are the Academy bibs that are seemingly similar to the bps bibs?

OK, I am going to have to get a Tatula...I need a new 6.4.1...what model is best and most economical and where to get one? I am convinced after all the reviews on here that I need to try one...suggestions (I know there are R, H, or whatever different models)?
