  1. It's one pole and a 2011 Tracker 175txw with a 60hp merc. I don't have a jackplate and didn't want to put holes in the boat. I'll keep an eye out for that loosening. Thanks for the info! Really appreciate it.
  2. Hey all, I just got a Power Pole and debating if I want to mount myself or have a shop do it. My questions is related to the sandwich adapter bracket. I know I don't have to remove the motor completely to slip the bracket in. However, in doing this do I have to worry about anything else besides new sealant? Will loosening the 4 bolts cause me any issues? Would rather to it myself but I don't have an engine jack. Any info would be helpful! Thanks!
  3. Thanks guys. I'll take a look. =D
  4. Heading out to this lake on Saturday. Has anybody fished it lately? I know the water level is way down. Has anyone had any success?
  5. We have a few auction places around here for vehicles but I haven't seen any boats in the lots. I'll have to check around at a few dealerships and check inventory.
  6. Anyone know of any auctions that are in CA? Did a search on google and came up empty and thought I would try through here. Thanks all!
  7. I own a Savvy's and I don't have any complaints about them. It works great!
  8. I'll be launching out of Ladd's Wednesday for some fishing and was wondering where some good spots are to hit. I usually launch from Lazy M and fish Italian slough, etc.. I can't travel all that far since I only have a 60hp so closer the better! Thanks guys!
  9. I mean't 25's. They use to have 50's and every now and then they have a great deal on them. I do love the 50's myself!
  10. Lurenet.com has a pretty good internet special deal on lipless at the moment. It's like $2.99 on XR75 and 25's. Just thought I would pass the savings.Hopefully this is the right place for this.. =/
  11. If any of you are planning on fishing this lake the bass have been really hitting crawdad color crankbaits. A lot of the fish I caught were holding on flats roughly 8' to 13' feet of water near points and shore. Cast your crankbait close to the shore and drag it back hitting the bottom all the way to the boat for some fun fishing! There's a "No Gas Motors" area which is really productive. I was using the Rapala DT series in crawdad and firetiger. If you have any Lucky Craft a mini DR in crawdad works great as well! Conditions: 10-13mph winds, Clear sunny sky, UV index 9 Happy fishing!
  12. You could give San Pablo Resevior and Lake Chabot a try. Also, there is also a small pond in Martinez called Hidden Lake. Its pretty small and easy to navigate. Pretty decent day if you're pitching Senkos or dropshotting. All these places are pretty much right next door to you!
  13. I use a Medium Veritas for cranking and have great success. However, If I could go back and get another I would get a MH though just for that extra backbone setting the hook when needed.
  14. I have a MH and use it for topwater and I must say it's one of my favorite rods! Light and sensitive! You won't be disappointed.
  15. Looks like I'll be holding off on the white ice. I do love my magic though! Thanks for the info smalljaw.
