Saints are still alive. The Eagles played about as bad as possible and still were in it at the end. Some stupid turnovers and play calling made it pretty hard for them to win. Kap made some crazy good plays and so did the receivers. The eagles were hurting offensively and a lot of that has to do with the makeshift offensive line they have. oh well, move on and get ready for the rams and then the giants and then a little rest....

I am by no means an expert but i have heard the same thing. Cooler water gets them more active and brings the big boys around. I plan on going out for them in october

What do you mean by sausage press? The unit i have has one of those extruder deals to fill the casings. What is a sausage press? The grinder has an extruder for filling up casings. I do think i need to get a burger press though to make those perfect, same size burgers which helps to make sure they all finish at the same time. Thanks. Any recommendations on seasonings you prefer?

This was the maiden voyage so before i go inviting everyone over to eat, I needed to break it in first. Maybe next time Next item to make is sausage.....just have to find some casings

I recently received a meat grinder as a gift from my brother and decided that today was the day to try it out. Went with basic burger because nothing beats a good burger. I used a mix of 50% brisket flat and 50% chuck roast. Made 12 8oz burgers... Anyways, was one of the best burgers i have had in a long time. Nothing beats a good simple burger with cheese and some fire roasted jalapeños on a nice soft potato roll.....

Keep going out by yourself and you will get better at it. I fish from a kayak so even when i am with someone else i am still by myself lol

As far as conventional gear goes i haven't found that super awesome combo i would like to have but for fly fishing i would love to have a Lamson Vanquish paired up with a Sage One rod.

I haven't bought any high dollar swim baits or anything like that so the tops for me were some pricey jerk baits i bought to try out. Stupid pickerel sawed them right off...oh well. Now if we are talking about gear lost that is a different story......

those are awesome pics man. Fenway is on my list of stadiums to visit before i die....along with Wrigley and pittsburgh and as much as i don't want to admit it, Yankee stadium. I was able to go to the old Yankee stadium so i wouldn't mind going to the new one.

nah i think it is more that he was already tossed in the game too...the refs really let things get out of hand early and were some of the worst refs i have seen in a while, for both sides, all game long

You bring up a good point though, i bet if Foles was injured the league would have ruled differently as well. Foles was sore after that game even if he didn't take that hit though, he was getting blasted all game. I guess that happens when you have no back up O-linemen left lol

yeah everyone knows to play till the whistle but you never see hits like that on other players at the end of a play. He wasn't sprinting towards the ball and even said i thought the play was over when i got blasted. the dropping of the shoulder showed me all the intent that was there....he wanted a shot on the QB even though legal, still a pretty cheap shot and we all know if it was brady or manning baker would be suspended and fined lol

i only use those type of hooks on rivers when dealing with current. never felt a need to weight them otherwise because they will sink, just slowly and that action alone helps with catching in my opinion and teaches you to be patient lol

I actually think they have better action because it seems like the plastic is softer. I also agree that adding weight can hurt the action but using a non screw lock weighted hook seems to do ok for me when i use them on rivers where i need to get them down in some current. I really like the 4/0 1/16th oz ones but they are tough to find in stores so i usually have to buy them online

I understand the rules and the ruling that was made is that it was legal. The play was over and Foles was hardly pursuing the play as he wasn't more than walking towards the play and the ball carrier was already contacted and on the way down when baker took his two steps before the hit. And i know you mentioned you can't stop that momentum and i agree but at the same time it is pretty easy to pull up and not take another step and lower your shoulder into a guy too and lessen the impact on a dead play. Really that is a moot point because it was deemed legal. That still doesn't change the fact that it was a complete cheap shot. Showed me how strong Foles was though to take a cheap shot like that and get up and still win even though it is against one of the poorest run franchises in all professional sports.

he would be using a boat. He has a jet boat that he uses for the river primarily but he lives about 20 minutes from the lakes so it would make afternoon quick trips pretty easily done.

and i would venture a guess the military camera technology is a little ahead of civilian equipment..... Any luck on finding the lady in question or is it questionable lady.....lol

I was one of the people who broke two veritas rods when they first came out on the first day of owning them...they were both replaced though so no worries and i since sold them. I did just pick up another one of the older versions on sale the other day and have fished it twice with no issues. it doesn't take much to put a week spot on a graphite rod. Fishing from a kayak is inherently a little rougher on gear i believe so i try and keep the banging around to a minimum to prevent any potential issues. I am convinced that breakage of rods is just part of the game and everyone will do it eventually via one or more ways

My thing is the rules state that once a pick is thrown the QB is considered defenseless and even at game speed you could see the play was over at that point. And yes, i remember all those games but my thing is the rules changed and QB play according to those rules. Back in the day if you threw a pick you were the first guy nailed no matter where you were on the field and QB was ready for it, the rules changed to prevent it from happening and players changed their style of play. I equate it to the hack a shaw rule where you can't intentionally foul a guy away from the play just to get a bad free throw shooter at the line instead of the ball handler.

I never stated you shouldn't get a firearm but was pointing out using a firearm as a bouncer is more complicated than it first seems. Personally, i don';t really care if anyone gets a firearm but with owning a firearm comes responsibility and it seems like that has all been covered by others and your attitude seems to be on the right track.
