Does Getting Skunked Bother You?
I get ticked when i get skumked. Luckily i haven;t been skunked in a very long time except when the water temps drop in the high 30's low 40's. To me it is more about being mad at myself for not figuring it out on a given day. There are always fish teo be caught somewhere in any condition and i want to be able to catch those fish. All of this only applies to lakes i fish regularly....on new water it is a little different story as usually my first trip out is as much exploratory as anything because being in a kayak i can't just zoom from spot to spot. By taking a little non-fihsing time it helps me on my next trip out to eliminate spots i don't feel will be as productive.

I think the best milwaukee drill my dad was his cordless hammer drill. Wasn't one we used often but we were running conduit on the top of a concrete plant roof once where the roof was a good 300-350yards long. Well you can imagine how many holes we had to drill for all the hangers and that thing worked like a champ. I want to say it took 2 batteries to do the entire run.

I hope they changed them because my 2 year old Ryobi stuff sucks. I do use my tools pretty regularly even though it is not my trade and i will never buy them again. My next set will be Milwaukee as i used them extensively when working for my dad who is an electrican and in construction. They are pricey but they sure do last forever. To think what abuse the sawzall and right angle drill was put through over the years and how they all still performed flawlessly is pretty amazing acutally. Sounds like mag lights....aka the crappiest flashlight ever but works as a pretty good club when needed

Your Crankbait Preference?
I like rapala cranks from their square bills all the way to their DT12. I also like the silent KVD square bills as well

How Will Citica Perform In Heavy Applications?
I own 3 Citicas, 1g and 2e and i have no qualms about either of them holding up to the task. I use them for jigs, frogs and texas rigs in the thick stuff and have never had any problems. I also have a PQ that i use for crankbaits and have had no issues there either. If i was looking at both reels, with the same price and the same gear ratio that i wanted i would get the citica as itdoes feel better in my hand the PQ but not by a huge margin.

Cranking With The Rapala Scatter Rap .
I like the scatter rap but it is definitely a differnet crankbait and cannot be used like the majority of hte normal styles. I have found it works well over flats and points without a ton of vegetation as the weedless properties just aren't as good. I have a couple of them and they work well and i will continue to throw them. I do think they will be a good river bait and if this rain ever stops i may have a chance to validate my theory.

4" Senko
Nose hooked and drifted weightless for smallies. For LM i like to rig them texas style weightless with a 2/0 or on a shaky head basically draggin it along super slow.

Harrisonburg, Recently Moved From N Va
Welcome to the forums and Harrisonburg is an outstanding palce to be for a fisherman. You don't have the big lakes super close by but within an hour or so you can be fishing for trout in teh mountians, browns in teh spring creeks or on the shenandoah for bass and musky. I went to college in the 'burg and skipped man ya class to fish the trico hatch on mossy Go talk to the guys at mossy creek fly shop. They are great guys and know there stuff and fish for everythign that swims so they can point you in the right direction.

Looking For 2Nd Opinion On New Setup Before Purchase
Or wait and see how much the older models are discounted or if there are any good rebates going. A few years ago Shimano had their mail in rebate and that in conjunction with the reel trade in at bass pro i picked up 2 citicas for 60 a piece. I also picked up the symetre this spring for $50 when they did the redesign.

This Is Too Good To Be True Right? Gotta Be.
Seems shady to me. I looked at their Native propel kayak and went through to the second page of checkout and shipping was a whopping $15...

Why Does My Power Pro Keep Twisting?
I use 30lb PP on my spinning setups for flukes am do not have line twist. I also don't find it to heavy as it is around 8lb diameter which to mea handles better on my 2500 sized reels Flip the bail by hand and don't reel against the drag as it is being pulled and you should limit line twist and I am not a fan of a swivel myself as it is just one more connection point to fail and I throw flukes into the grass an other nasty cover and a swivel snags more junk

Power Pole For A Kayak!
Sorry but that is way overkill on a kayak. I would rather use my Yak Attack park n pole and be able to us it as a push pole at the same time without adding more weight and be able to use it in my anchor trolley to position myself appropriately given the wind.

Difference Between A $5 Lure And A $12 Lure?
What everyone else said i will agree with but it does depend on your fishing lakes too. I also find the more expensive baits seem to last longer and have more durabilty. One of my examples is the SK Square bills. It seems like the finish doesn't last that long but they still catch fish as opposed to the rapala square bills where the finish is much more durable in my experience. THe price difference isn't much and i know people always complain about rapalas breaking but i have yet to break one and i fish them pretty regularly.

Koppers Live Target Bait Ball Crankbaits
I saw them on tackle tour's Facebook page and they are definitely unique. I am sure they will sell and produce like pretty much any crankbait. I can't see the detail on there making much of a difference as a bait goes past a fish at speed and wobbling. Cranks to me are more about color on the top and bottom and not sure i have had any better success with baits with more detail on the paint scheme.

Why Are Lefties So Discriminated Against???
The age old discussion.....As time goes on yo uwil lsee more lefties. Back in the day the only offered right hand retrieve and think about your first Zebco....right hand retrieve. I just don't get how people use a right hand retrieve for baitcasters and a left hand retrieve for spinning gear. I reel left on everything from baitcasters to spinning to fly rods-just makes sense to me.

Question About A Pond Prowler
Yeah i am pretty sure that is the same one. They look pretty awesome and i have seen some guys rig them up to be pretty sweet little boats. http://freedomelectricmarine.com/store/2011/10/twin-troller-x10/

Question About A Pond Prowler
Depends on teh state regs Here in VA anthign that is powered needs to be registered. Check with your department of game and fisheries and they should be able to guide you in the right direction. Are you talking about the twin troller? The boat with two trolling motors, one in each of the twin hulls? Those things look sweet and the ultimate electric only boat for smaller bodies of water. I wil llook at them prety hard when i decide to get soemthing that i can take my son out in more easily than my kayak.
